73 Chapter 72 :

Gary knew there was one day before his match with Elite 4 . He went to the forest to calm himself as he knew that remaining there would only stress himself . He had changed his pokemons before coming .

He called out his Dragonair .

Dragonair came out and started circling around him . Gary knew about that started petting him .

Gary wanted to use Dragonair as pokemon for his first match with Elite 4 he knew that his fight with Lorelei would be great and it can be used as a good match for Dragonair evolution to Dragonite .

Gary started training Dragonair by having a good flexibility in air battle . After a one hour of good exercise in the air Gary started training Dragonair to be frozen as it knew facing Lorelei chancing of getting Frozen is very high and getting a high resistance to it might be great .

So he asked his Blastoise to freeze him repeatedly . After a good 2 hour training Dragonair just sat down and started forming a good strategy for tomorrow's match .

Gary after that didn't thought about it as he knew that after a lot thinking somethings might go wrong . He started thinking about his future journey to Orange Islands for Orange league . He knew that this might be a small journey but it can be great journey . Gary remembered that by the time his all matches finish Ash may have started his journey for Orange League .He knew that to beat him he had to to buy a ship so that before Ash reaches Pummelo Island and defeat Drake .

Gary knew that Ash would take a big journey to complete his journey whereas he can speed it .

Gary went back to his hotel .

As moving around he found that many people from many regions were coming so they can view a good fight between an Pokemon league Champion and an Elite 4 member . He also a Gambling place where there was placed bet . 90%of person believed that the match will be won by Gary .

Suddenly someone touched his shoulder . He moved back and saw a girl with purple hair back . She was the elite 4 number Lorelei . He was surprised to find his competitor now . They both looked at each other and then went to place to sit each other .

Lorelei said " I didn't expect to see the champion here "

Gary smirked " Nor me "

Gary " How have you prepared for tomorrow "

"Good "

" Good luck for tomorrow "

" So any pressure " Gary asked

"Very much"

"Hmm "

"Hmm every member of Elite 4 is scared of you , you beated every participant with just one pokemon I only think that you can use more than one pokemon in our battle "

Gary just laughed as he knew that fighting him is a great pressure for even an Elite 4 trainer .

Lorelei just looked at Gary and said " Don't underestimate me tomorrow "

Gary " I won't "

Gary just looked at her and went back .

He saw a Mr. Mime having good showdown with Ditto which attracted a lot attraction to it .

The trainer to both of them was a performer

Mean while Lorelei just stood at that spot for along time and then went back before muttering " He will be great Champion ......."

Ash had went back to Pallet town . He knew if he stared at Gary's match for few time he might never face him in a battle and always remain in his shadow .

Oak then asks Ash and his friends to head to Valencia Island in the Orange Archipelago to visit his colleague, Professor Ivy, to pick up a mysterious Pokeball for her. It cannot be transported and his grandson Gary is currently occupied by his battle with Elite 4 . They all agree and depart from Ash's home.
