Chapter 47 : Going for Articuno

Guys I know many want Gary to have legendary Pokemons and are constantly saying that there are many same legendary pokemons .

I have a reason for not catching them as I want all Legendary pokemon have there own territories . So if Gary catches pokemon of one region The overall strength of one region may weaken and all other regions may attack them . Because in pokemon world the overall strength of an region can only be depicted by Legendries . That is my point of view for legendary pokemons . But it isn't he won't catch legendary he will catch them but they will be legendary pokemons whose presence won't change the strength of a region .

Gary has prepared for his trip to Seafoam Island to battle Articuno . While researching the private Pokemon league website he was able to find that every region strength is depended on there legendries .

There was a story of past written there .

It started as when the regions were ruled by Kingdoms . All rulers because of greed wanted to rule the whole pokemon world . At that time Pokemon were used as slaves of the kingdoms and were used like a killing machine . Because of a prince of a kingdom dying in one of that empire . The war between all empire started . The war continued for 10 years in those ten years more than 50% population of humans and pokemons died . Because so many pokemons and humans were dying ,Legendary Pokemons intervened in the war . Every legendary pokemon of there region fought for there region . Many legendary pokemons were killed in the war . Because of many legendary pokemon dying . Arceus the mythical pokemon was forced to intervene and stop the battle . At the later stages of the war all the rulers felt that a single legendary pokemon had capabilities of destroying a whole country . So from then on every ruler used every means to capture legendary pokemons of other regions so there regions could get a better chance for world domination . Some dark organization became obsessed with legendary pokemon so they could capture one of them to make country of themselves .

That time Gary thought ' So the creation of Team Rocket in Kanto, Team magma and aqua of Hoenn , etc . can be these dark organization of past whose obsession still exists , So this makes sense that in the anime no one knew history about these organization '

From reading this he became aware that if he capture a legendary pokemon he can become a big piece of fat for these dark organizations .

He closed the website and saw the Seafoam Island was drawing near .

He came to defeat Articuno alone as he didn't want girls beside him have any mishap while he would be fighting the legendries .

He brought six pokemons for his journey which were . Blastoise , Golem , Arcanine , Dragonair , Gengar and Alakazam.

As soon the ferry reached the Seafoam Island he went to the hotel and rested . As while fighting Articuno he wanted to be in his peak condition .

//Next Day//

Gary interacted with basically every shop in the town to get information about the birds . From the interaction he was able to find that Articuno lives in some caves of the Island . As the Island was covered with snow and blizzard happening were common finding caves from unorthodox means was impossible .

Gary knew if he wanted to have a fight with Articuno , Finding it would be the biggest challenge .

Then Gary started thinking having a bird perspective . So he was able to decrease his search zone . But first he had to reach the top of the island . He knew that reaching top would be a tough hiking .

Gary called out his Dragonair , Alakazam and Gengar . He took ride of Dragonair while asking hid Gengar and Alakazam to use psychic to his protection .

With help of his pokemon Gary was able to reach the top of Seafoam Island .

Gary asked his all three pokemons to find a cave from which fresh water was coming near the top .

It took them 2 hours to find the cave which met Gary description perfectly .

Finding that cave was easy as today no Blizzard on Island came .

Gary called back his pokemons and entered the cave after walkinh 10 minutes he came to a temple on which a blue bird was resting . That temple was constructed beautifully . From there Gary could also see a big space on which there were many battles mark . He found that it might be place for his next battle . As soon Gary entered , the sleeping blue bird woke up and looked at Gary .
