6: First battle & pidgey

"Come out, Froakie" Leo said as he threw his pokeball up, Froakie immediately launched out and landed on his shoulder..

"Wow, your grew bigger?" Leo was slightly shocked, was this because of the automatic feeding system? If that was the case then all of his Pokémon would be bigger than normal ones.

"Ok let's go, before we have our first gym battle we need to catch one or two more Pokémon's, and we also have to train" Leo said as he rubbed froakies soft head.

Leo's first stop was viridian forest, he would just straight up skip viridian city as there probably wouldn't be much to do there..

Holding a large map in his hands, Leo sighed as he looked at Froakie who was laying on his shoulder, seemingly bored.

"We are here buddy, viridian forest" Leo said as he looked at the forest in front of him, he had previously even seen a few trainers enter this forest.

"Ok this is it" Leo assured himself again before takin his first step, in this world pokemon could definitely kill each other and even humans, it was basically like some type of survival of the fittest.

After a few steps in the viridian forest it wasn't long before Leo spotted a pidgey, it was pecking around its body as it looked around, it didn't even notice Leo and Froakie..

"A pidgey isn't so bad" Leo thought as he looked towards Froakie.

Froakie nodded before leaping off his shoulders.

"Froakie use bubble, and then rush up and use pound on that pidgey" Leo said softly, making sure not to alert the pidgey.

A faint transparent bubble appeared around Froakie as his stats got raised sharply..

Swoosh!!!

Froakie leaped off the grass before stealthily climbing up the tree, it's two front legs slamming heavily into the pidgey.

Bang!

The sound of the collision was heard before pidgey was sent flying into the air, it steadied itself as it flew up before looking at Froakie in shock.

It hadnt been able to even notice this sneaky little frog.

Pidgey flapped it's wings as it's pecks seemingly grew bigger, it rushed at Froakie.

"Dodge and use pound again Froakie" Leo shouted as he came up with a battle plan in his mind.

Pidgey big pecks has missed Froakie as he nimbly leaped away, before coming back down and slamming pidgey with a pound..

"What the f*ck is the system feeding this guy?" Leo thought as he saw the pidgey get knocked out in a single hit.

"Froakie get off the pidgey for a second" Leo said as he walked up, holding a pokeball in his hands.

Swoosh..

The pokeball left his hands with a slight toss before landing on pidgey a head.

Pidgey turned into a flash of light before entering into the pokeball.

With a pah!

Sound, the pokeball landed on the grass before shaking a few times, it then stopped shaking.

"We caught a pidgey" Leo said as he patted froakies head in excitement, this catch was just too easy.

"Now that I have another Pokémon, we can start training"

Leo said before opening his system
