20: Pokédex & registration

making it back to his inn, Leo immediately noticed a strange parcel at his front door.

It was a package which was laying right next to an ornament tree.

"To: Leo

From: Professor oak"

Seeing as it was from professor oak, Leo immediately picked up the package before opening the door.

Opening the package, leo immediately noticed a note- which was from professor oak.

"Leo, this is a Pokédex which I had nearly forgotten to give you earlier, it also had your Pokémon trainer ID along with it, once you connect your Pokédex, you can immediately register for the indigo league in any city you are in" the note read, it even had Professor oaks signature on it.

"I was wondering when I would get my Pokédex, that old man really forgot" Leo smiles wryly before looking under the scrap paper.

A red Pokédex was immediately found under it.

[Scanning trainer] the Pokédex said mechanically, a strange light scanned Leo before the Pokédex immediately opened.

It basically had Leo's trainer license which Professor oak had gotten for him, along with his basic information, like his place of birth, birthday, age etc.

Even though it was getting dark, the streets of cerulean city were lit up with many lifts, and the city was bustling with activity, many food stalls were even open.

Leo carries his Pokédex in his pocket, along with his phone, it wasn't long before he reached a Pokémon center.

A "ding" sound rang through the Pokémon center as Leo opened the door, alerting nurse joy.

"Hello sir, would you like me to heal your Pokémon?" Nurse joy said with a smile.

"No that's alright, I actually came here to register for the indigo league" Leo said before pulling it his Pokédex and showing her his license.

"Is that so, I will need to register you using your Pokédex then" nurse joy said before taking his Pokédex.

She then connected it to a weird machine like thing behind her, a "ding" sound rang out signaling that he had been registered.

"All done, good luck trainer Leo" nurse joy said with a smile, she had seen his name on the Pokédex.

"Thanks nurse joy"

Leaving the Pokémon center, Leo decided to look around the city, he was definitely going to enjoy this night.

"Leooooooo" a feminine sound entered his ears, Leo was surprised because it was actually daisy.

"Daisy, didn't expect to see you here" Leo smiled as he greeted her.

"Are you also here for the food stalls? Me too, come with me, I know the best ones" she said before grabbing Leo's hand and pulling him off.

Leo didn't even bother to reject her, afterall he was bored and was looking for something to do tonight.

Leo and daisy then went though many food stalls, trying all kinds of foods.

And since Leo was practically rich now, he decided to pay for all of the food which they had bought.

It didn't cost much anyways, daisy had also thanked him for treating her tonight.

"It was my pleasure to spend time with you, I'll be off then" Leo said as he returned to the inn.

He was practically stuffed, all of the food tasted too good.

" I might have to enjoy my time in these various cities more often" Leo thought as he laid on his bed, he soon fell asleep after thinking about what he would do tomorrow.
