1 CH1- Starter Pokémon

"Get up!" Mom exclaimed.

"Uhh, mom it's a Saturday." Rome replied. 

"Rome it's Saturday." Mom said. 

"Ohhh no, I have to get my starter Pokémon!" Rome exclaimed. 

"Yes, can your brain keep moving, please." Mom said.

"It's 9:30, and umm we have to be there at 9:30!" Rome exclaimed as he started getting changed as fast as possible. 

"Go, leave I'll have breakfast once you get back." Mom screamed, since Rome was already sprinting down the road. 

"Hiya Rome." His neighbor said. 

"Can't talk Mr. Beckett." Rome responded. 

"See you later Rome." Mr. Beckett said. 

Once Rome was one minute from Professor Oaks lab he saw all the other kids leaving.

"Oh no." Rome said to himself. 

"Umm hi, is Professor Oak still giving out starter Pokémon?" Rome asked a nearby girl. 

"Hi, well I don't know if you get in there right now there may be one Pokémon left." The girl said. 

"Thanks." Rome said while running. 

"Professor, Professor Oak, I'm I late?" Rome asked. 

"Rome, you know very well how late you are, but you can have a lucky day. I have one more Squirtle for you." Professor Oak said.

"oh thank you Professor." Rome replied. 

"You're welcome, now here he is, he might be a little annoying. I've found him in the wild and has habits that usually other Pokémon don't have, so be careful." Professor Oak said. 

While Rome was walking down the stairs his Squirtle bit him.

"Squirrrr." The Squirtle said. 

"Ahh, stop, wait I should name you, let's see you will be Champ." Rome said. 

"Squirrrr." Champ said. 

"Is that a yes?" Rome asked. 

"Ahh well let's go." Rome said. 

"Once they were at Romes house he was greeted by Mr. Beckett,

"You back Rome?" Mr. Beckett asked. 

"Yup." Rome replied. 

"What's your Pokémon?" Mr. Beckett asked. 

"I got a squirtle, hey sorry Champ, yeah he doesn't like being called squirtle, his name is Champ." Rome said. 

"Ahh, hello Champ, you're going to have fun, guarantied." Mr. Beckett said. 

"Hi Rome, I heard your conversation with Mr. Beckett, do you like Champ?" Mom asked. 

"Yup he's great." Rome replied. 

Next Day.

"Good morning Rome, sleep well?" Mom asked. 

"Yeah." Rome replied. 

"Well here eat your eggs." Mom said as passing eggs to Rome. 

"Mom, I have a question, can I go on an adventure and capture more Pokémon?" Rome asked. 

"Hmm let's see, yes only one month though." Mom said. 

"Uhhh mom, can't I have longer?" Rome asked.

"Fine three months no longer." Mom said.
