How!?... how does it feel to be poisoned by your own mother, a concubine of a ignorant marquise who couldn't even tell that his own daughter was being poisoned. Well am not surprised he didn't really like her, a frail girl ever so weak, she was as pale as the snow could get, her touch was cold like the frozen rivers. (hi!! Am Baylie and don't mind the comments I will be making in the book.)

she thinks that's all because of her pale white skin, pitched colored lips, she does don't really consider him as her father from what I've heard, that's because he would beat and punish her for every mistake she would make and not to mention he would lock her in her room for days, to the point that she was on the verge of death she would usually faint of dehydration and hunger.

But the thing that hurt more than hunger… was that her mother never protected her even once, all she ever dreamed of was a mother who would notice her for once, tell her she was beautiful just…for once, tears came running down her face staining her light pink cheeks, at the thought of her mother ever loving her happening she got interrupted by a maid who had come into her room, she quickly rubbed of the tears of her face.

"Miss. the master has summoned you to the main hall."

"Please follow me" the maid said, she got up weak as she was, the maid showed her the way to the main hall, it took them about 5-6 minutes to get to the main hall when they reached the entrance there waiting for them, there standing there were two guards waiting at the entrance of the main hall, they opened the large wooden doors for her when she entered the hall and saw all of fathers concubines sitting not to far from him and his other daughters all sitting next to their mothers, oh she I hated them. She then got on her knees to show her "respect" for father when she heard him say "lift your head my child" she then followed orders and lifted her head, he continued talking and talking, 'lord have mercy' she thought.

"I called for you today because we have a marriage proposal for you, as you know your the only unmarried child left, unlike the good successful, children who got married to powerful families, enough of that let's get to the point, The man you will marry is the crown prince, Qin shi."

her eyes grew wider the moment she heard the name 'Qin shi? Why would they make me marry the black prince' she thought, He was called the black prince for a reason, he was named that because he was the merciless prince who never spared anyone who got in his way not to say he was well known for the way he treated his concubines and the fact that he never had a main wife intrigued everyone.

The room went silent, just after one second she heard a soft giggle come from one of the concubines ``oh my, what an unfortunate event" one concubines said. (If you know what I mean by an unfortunate event you must have watched the unfortunate event or read it) "Before you leave, you will meet the prince in two weeks'' father said in a cold expression. She stood the in silence then came back to earth with in a few seconds she bowed to him before leaving the main hall.

The huge wooden doors opened and the light from the sun was so warm she almost cried from the light going into her eyes, she then went back to her quarters, to see her mother waiting for her 'mother?' she rushed up to see why she was here "mother?" she asked. "Oh my daughter, come take some tea with me" she found it very strange she was here all of a sudden, but she brushed it off like it didn't matter she then took her seat at the tea table.

"Maid bring us some tea" she signaled the maid to bring them tea but the weird thing was that the maid bringing them tea wasn't her maid it was her mothers but she thought nothing of it she then brought them the tea, mother gave me some sugar but the sugar seemed to have been crashed so it looked like white powder my mother did not like sugar so she just drank it plain she then took her first two sips of tea the felt a sharp pain in her abdomen.

She thought it was just a normal thing but then her head started spinning, as if she wanted to faint. she called one of the maids to take her to her bed so she could rest "mother I'm sorry I would like to excuse myself so I could rest for a bit" she then got up and the maid helped her to her bed she then fell asleep in but a fraction of a second. She was in and out of sleep.

she then gained consciousness and asked for a doctor to check her for any illnesses to find out she had been poisoned, but who'd do such a thing? The one person that came to mind was her mother, it was! mother. mother… no one was serving her tea, it was just her mother.

The doctor came in to the room and told her there were huge amounts of poison in her blood and there was nothing he could do about it, she then remembered a week ago she had the same filling as she did, Now!?..NOW??.. is when she realized it was mother giving her food every day. she will never forgive her for this, she did something unspeakable something no mother would do but i guess the world was wrong it is something even your own mother could do, and not even you could notice.
