After Kai felt better, he slowly stood up, thanked the old doctor, and left the cabin. The first thing which came to his mind wasn't to go to the hill to thank the benefactor, not at all, since human beings don't have a thankful nature in the first place. He went to the place of torture to see if his friend was still there. As he went to the training grounds the loud cheers and laughs of the soldiers suddenly stopped, everyone gazed at him for a few seconds and then they either turned their backs and continued talking or quietly left the scene. Kai went closer to the place where they were tortured, with the hope of seeing his friend, however, Mike's body was there no more.

- Where is it? where is the body? where? - Kai mumbled to himself.

- WHERE IS THE BODY? - he screamed out loud afterward.

- shut your filthy mouth rookie! - said Anthon, the guy who snitched on them.

However, this wasn't the case with Kai, he screamed his lungs out as if he amounted to something and rushed to his vicious opponent, Anthon. although even though he tried his best, he wasn't even able to land a punch, as soon as he got even a little bit closer to Anthon, 7 people jumped on him. They were kicking him mercilessly. Kai could clearly feel the sharp pain in his diaphragm while starting to cough out blood once again.

- HEY STOP! You know how Vice-captain hates it when someone dies without him witnessing it.

- I better not see you around at night, or you might slip onto a knife or two~.

Kai got up and went to a tent since he thought that he would be safe there. while entering his old tent, he saw that Mike's belongings were put in a bag and thrown out. This made Kai furious, however with a mouth full of blood he could barely breathe. he took the belongings and slowly went in. As soon as he stepped in he was shocked, not only did they remove his things but they already replaced him, with another guy. The guy was Franco, a 24-year-old rat of Vice-Captain, his ugly pimpled face with scars and burns was covered by his long messy brown hair. the middle-sized man wasn't pleasant to look at. By seeing him Kai understood that even though Vice was sadistic, he wasn't dumb in any way.

- Hey~ let's be friends from now on. said, Franco.

- Tch... Kai wanted to curse him out and pour his rage upon that guy but he couldn't even breathe. The cold-hearted and logical side of Kai was gone in an instant. After he came to his senses, he decided to check out Mike's belongings to take the money Mike worked for to his friend's family, with other important talismans. he was searching for it for a while but he couldn't find even one coin, however, he did find a necklace with a family picture on it, with this the search for Mike's family would be easier.

- where is the money? Kai asked Franco

- oh money ~ what money?

- the one U guys stole from Mike. Don't play dumb. said, Kai.

- oh my ~ I think I remember now, Franco took it with other guys ... I was so shocked when I saw that... said Franco while making sure that coins in his Backpocket did not make a sound.

* Fucking bastards didn't even live dead man's belongings* thought Kai to himself. He felt disgusted so he left the tent and moved to the cliff.

Kai was practically at the destination when he saw 7 graves in the ground with their names written on the wooden memorials. his mind was bamboozled and he was too flabbergasted to speak, the words of the old doctor rang in his head like a bell. suddenly few cadets came out and surrounded him.
