Nothing

Everything I had was taken from me

My house, my money, my clothes,

Everything I used to have was lost

Because I didn't have enough to pay all that it cost

I try and try to provide but it's never enough

Everyone around me judges me for what I've become

The lonely, poor girl, that's homeless

They say I'm dumb and worthless but,

I tell them, I'm not dumb or worthless

I try me best, and sometimes it worth it

I might be poor and all alone in this world

But I'm determined to get on my feet

So don't judge me for this person I've become

Because one day I'll rise above all this
