[Poem II] Absence

The dark void that surrounded me,

nothing, no light, no sound, no hope.

Once more, I opened my eyes,

The light appeared.

I raced towards it and grasped it in my hand,

I loved something, but the light kept escaping my hand,

the light disappeared, I closed my eyes.

I love something, I had to let go...
