Numb,

I feel numb,

From all the words to shouts,

I just feel so done.

Numb,

I try to feel,

But when I do,

I just cry myself to sleep.

Numb,

I hate feeling this way,

Jealous of happiness,

Something I'll never experience.

Numb,

Everything hurts,

I guess I lied,

In the end I'm just broken.

Numb,

I try to smile,

But what's the point,

When I'm barely alive.

Numb,

I used to cut,

Hoping not to feel,

Now I just have scars branded on me.

Numb,

I'm tired of acting this way,

I just want to feel something,

Even if it's just for a day.
