Lead them, ok?

When the distribution of food to all was over. Oli, Elder Alfred, and Zion's family ate the food.

In the past three weeks, Oli only then found out and saw the situation of people in Leefside village. Everyone is skinny or malnourished, including Elder Alfred and Zion's family and, he just found out the explanation, why no one is working they, are all not suited for work.

Their clothes are also perforated, torn, or patchy you can see that it is very tough for people to live here.

But, right now, their bodies are slowly gaining flesh and fat, their clothes are a bit okay right now unlike, three weeks ago and, it is all thanks to Oli.

He buys the goods he needs on Earth, then, he will bring the goods here then distribute them to everyone.

And Oli is happy because somehow he helps and alleviates the problem of the people in Leefside even for a moment.

While eating, Elder Alfred spoke.

"Oli, after you finished eating, do you do anything?"

"No Elder Alfred. Why?"

Oli replied while eating their stew beef.

"Can I talk to you? I just want to tell you something."

It's a few hours since Oli and, his companions finished eating, and right now, he and Elder Alfred are walking around the town. They are both silents until Elder Alfred broke the silence.

"So, how are doing in these past three weeks?" Elder Alfred asked.

"Well, to be honest, it is very tough but, somehow I can make manage. The people are friendly and always looking forward. They always believe that one day, the suffering they experienced will end." Oli answered.

"Hohoho it's that so? How about the things you asked and read?"

"I learned most of them but, somehow the slavery thing is kind of difficult to accept. Well in my country there was no slavery, yes there is in the past but, that is thousands of years ago."

"Hohoho, is that so? I think you should resolve yourself. If there is no slavery in your country, here there is and, the trade of slavery is rampant and, the treatment of most slaves is more than animals because if the situation of those living in the wasteland is challenging, the case of the slaves is even more difficult. So if you see a nobleman especially, a high noble from a powerful Kingdom or Empire mistreating, a slave you better pretend you saw nothing, because in case you interfere with them, there's only one place waiting for you. "Hey there little Rex, yes, it is called stew. You like it?" Oli replied.

"Yes, I like it! We all like it! Right guys?!" The child name Rex said then on the kids then the kids shouted in unison. "Yes! We like it!".

"It's good to hear that!" Oli smiled then pat the heads of the kids.

"Then young master, what is the dinner later?" Rex asked.

"Hmm... I'm thinking of, steak." Oli answered.

"Steak? What's that? It is delicious? Ah! Hehehe, I forgot that all the foods that the young master prepared are delicious! We got to the young master, Elder Alfred, we need to find some shiny stone to exchanged some dinner later! See yah!!" Before Oli could reply, Rex and the kids run off outside the village.

"What do you think about our village and people living here, Oli?" Elder Alfred asked Oli.

"Well, I won't lie. It's very challenging to live here in your village. Honestly, your village is even poorer than the poorest place in my country." Oli replied honesty and, Elder Alfred agreed about this and wait for Oli to continue.

"But the village has a potential to grow and become one of the most powerful places in this Continent. Also, the people living here are always, looking forward. They were all happy and smiling all the time as if there was no problem to face at all. They are all friendly, yeah, what a wonderful people." Oli said while looking at the village and people, not knowing that they arrived at the place where could they see the whole village of Leefside.

"This is the story of the once a strong and the flourishing Kingdom of Vedran. King Eno, the previous King, also known as a "Wise King" led, the Vedrain to the golden age wherein all the Kingdoms and Empires knows this small Kingdom located in the Central Continent. They are all lined up to forge an alliance or, to build some friendship. He is well respected but, not until he questioned the teaching of the Supreme Pontiff and due to that the strong and flourishing Vedrain, began its downfall as well as the alliances of its kingdoms. First was, assassinating his trusted retainers, followed by his wife, and lastly, his son. It's not over yet because the second thing that happened was that the incoming trades stopped, so Vedrain's economy weakened and went bankrupt. The latest was the Civil War, to oust King Eno from the throne and let others rule. Since Vedrain was already defeated, the next to fall was the alliances of its Kingdom. King Eno knew that the Supreme Pontiff was responsible for everything that happened but, he could not do anything. The forces of the Supreme Pontiff are too strong for him to handle so, he gives up and lets fate decide what will happen after. That was a story of Vedrain and why was there was seven Wasteland. It is the Vedrain and its alliance."

Oli opened his mouth wide open and couldn't believe what was he heard. The political thing is too much to handle.

"But I believe it can happen again. The people of Vedrain can experience it again because it has now, a good and wise leader to lead."

Elder Alfred continues and, Oli was not a slow type of person and, he knows that he was the one who Elder Alfred was talking about.

"Sigh, Elder Alfred. I think you were jumping to a conclusion. Vedrain is too large for me to manage. I'm just a simple and ordinary man, I cannot lead people. I ca--."

Oli couldn't finish his saying because Elder Alfred interrupted him.

"You can, Oli. You can. I saw you manage and lead people of the Leefside in these past three weeks and, you are fitted to be. You are destined to do so."

'And maybe a King'

Elder Alfred wanted this but, didn't.

'But Elder Alfred, all I want is to be successful and have as many children as I could, why would I lead people?'

Oli wanted to say this but, couldn't.

"Hohoho, don't worry Oli. You can think of it first but, I will say this now, you could achieve and do anything when you became a chairman. The people of Leefside will be happy if they found out that you could become their chairman. Also you can practice here in Leefside on how to manage and village."

'But Elder Alfred Leefside village and Vedrain are on a whole different level. Leefside is village while the Vedrain is a freaking Kingdom, although it is a country now, still...

Oli wanted to say this but, he don't know why he can't.

"Sigh. I will think about it Elder Alfred. I will think about it."

It was four o'clock in the afternoon when Oli returned to Earth and, he quickly put on his hoodie jacket and pants. Then he hurried out of his room to go to the gold shop to sell the gold nuggets he obtained.

When he arrived at the gold shop, he immediately went inside and, Oli was greeted by the beautiful sales lady.

"Hello, good afternoon sir. What can I help you with?" The sales lady asked while looking at Oli from head to toe and, when she saw Oli's appearance, she immediately raised her eyebrow.

"I would like to talk to your manager is he here?" Oli asked.

"When I say no, are you leaving?" The sales lady said with a rude tone.

When Oli heard it, he immediately knew why the sales lady change her attitude. Oli looks like he can't afford to buy gold here but, Oli wasn't here to buy gold Oli was here to sell gold. Oli just sigh and, was about to leave when an old man appeared and stopped him from exiting.

"Maggie! How many times do I have to tell you, don't be rude to the customer? Sigh. I'm sorry about his attitude, dear customer. I hope you forgave her. I'm the manager here, what can I help you?"

"Ow, Uhm I'm, not here to buy gold... I'm here to sell gold." Oli said then he showed the gold nugget he had.

When the manager saw this, his eyes became wide and led Oli to the private room to talk about the deal. Oli didn't know the actual price of gold is, so he let the old manager set the price. The exchange only last for 30 minutes and, Oli got $1000.

He then immediately go out the shop to buy his daily necessity.
