95 The Real Prize

The real prize, and the best surprise, was the upgrade that came with the younger girl's body. Twitching, and eager to explore, he unlocked the system's panel and unabashedly rushed to view its contents. Alex was startled. His eyes buldged as he looked askance at his dashboard. Two items stood out:

Silver Sword, and Golden Crow.

These two items were not supposed to be here. At least, there were not supposed to be available at this level just yet. Alex gawked at them for so long, he actually lost track of time for a moment or two. He was not over reacting. Just as their ominous names suggested, these two artifacts that came in the form of an upgrade, were on a whole other level completely.

Take Silver Sword for instance.

There was a reason this Silver Sword was restricted to higher levels. Calling it a dangerous weapon would be a gross over simplification of its true value. It was horror, pain, and power in one blade. Not to mention, exceedingly cutting-edge sharp.
