7 Eye of God
One after the other, even the kids that came after him to the orphanage were adopted by different families but no one wanted to take him. Even the caretaker never understood why it had been like that in his case. The caretaker herself could never understand as to what was wrong with the child. Eventually she even stopped suggesting him to the families willing to adopt a child from the orphanage. With growing age, even the slim hope that he had of being adopted was close to vanishing. The first wound to his self-esteem had been dealt at that place. He had grown to hate himself despite the fact that he wasn't a bad looking baby nor did he appear to be gloomy or runny nosed like those unlikable brats that had gotten adopted. He had been a beautiful baby at the time who had been both cheerful and likable.
The emotional distress and the mental fatigue caused by countless rejections and the various adoptions that had taken place in his witness shattered his self-confidence which left him wondering whether there had been some problem with him.
Only now was he able to understand that the machinations of the cosmic emperor had been the reason for his melancholy. He had made sure to simulate the greatest hell on earth for his favorite god. Alex was sure that this was definitely favoritism. He didn't curse out loud since there was no one else to hear his complaints and he was sure that the cosmic emperor wouldn't be as free as to monitor his life in the mortal world at all times. The curse of the emperor of the universe had made sure that he always failed at whatever he tried to do no matter how easy or useless it was. This was his revenge on the god of sex for taking away what was the most precious to him.
But all of that was now in the past since the god of sex had managed to awaken his Pleasure system that was a straight path to the objective that he had in mind. The reason was that the path had been devised and produced by none other than the god of sex himself. So he was fully aware of all the capabilities of the system. With the memories and skills from his past life the path to godhood was a breeze.
His luck was about to take a turn for the better and Alex was sure that not even the cosmic emperor would be able to interfere with him from this moment forward. He had finally managed to get his fate back into his own hands.

The system messages finally came to a halt and Alex felt a little dumbfounded at how normal it all seemed. The return of his memories had changed him into a totally different person. He was not about to go back to his pushover ways after witnessing the new world that lay in wait for him to explore as he pleased.

Alex finally let out a breath. The nervousness that had taken over his heart finally withdrew its grasp from his throbbing heart. The skill he received was displayed in his status window.

Alex let out a sigh of relief as he read through the effects of the skill that were available to him at the current level of strength.
He had already determined that he was too weak to handle the skills at his disposal and was therefore planning to work hard towards increasing the level of his physical skills. Eyes of god were the perfect tool that would help him gain a foothold in the society that he had been excluded from. He was going to create a favorable situation for himself now that he had the chance to get what he had always lacked in the mortal world; wealth.
After having lived a life of poverty and destitution, Alex was dead set on experiencing the lives of the wealthy in the mortal world. Those who hadn't been poor could never understand the inferiority complex that the poor were born with. No rich kid needed to constantly carry his injured self-esteem and ego around his friends who were not only well off but also had other talents. The poor who never got to figuring out their talents weren't any good in the wealth department either so they were ostracized by society that set the standards.
Eye of god was the first step towards a wealthy lifestyle. Alex was sure that this skill would be very useful for when he went around in search of his first bucket of gold out of the many to come in the future.
Alex hadn't taken very long to determine the next course of action after having awakened the Eye of god. He had tested it for a long time in order to determine the feasibility of the first plan of action.
After testing thoroughly, he was able to determine the working range, the limits to the size of the obstacles that he had to see through by testing it on various materials of different sizes as an experiment. As a result, he was able to determine that the range of Eyes of god was as extensive as a hundred feet but the size of the obstacles that he was able to see through was quite pitiful in comparison. The maximum size of the obstacles that he was able to see through at the current level of his skill turned out to be not more than a few centimeters.
He was able to see through a thick stack of paper while he was unable to see through hardened steel of the same size which meant that the material density of the substance also played a role in the determination of the obstacle size that his sight could penetrate through.
Currently he was able to see through a sheet of plastic the thickness of which was almost equivalent to a brick but he was unable to see through a metal sheet that was the thickness of two fingers of his hand.
After having tested the skill for each and every contingency that might appear in future and cause trouble for him, Alex finally settled down on his bed to rest. The continuous use of the skill had exhausted him due to the low level of divinity he had managed to scrounge together.
