1 Prologue

"Mama Where are You?" *sniff *sniff

Somewhere deep inside of a Forest a voice could be heard.We could see a five years old girls walks aimlessly around the forest as she keeps on crying until she fell towards the ground and got her dress ruined.

"Mama Bai Bai will be good please so please don't abandon me." The girl continued crying while didn't notice that her leg was bleeding and still calling for her mother.

As the sun sets the girl stopped at an ancient tree and crouched down as she was tired.

The girl slump down and suddenly felt intense hunger.

She heard a noise behind her and got scared as she hurriedly stand up but her feet won't move, fear crept in her mind and kept quiet in hope to not be noticed.

"Hey is someone there!?" A young boy suddenly shouted behind the tree.

" Hello! I am Ying Bai, Can You Please help Me!!" as the girl shouted wearily and finally felt relieved.

The boy rushed towards Ying Bai as He noticed that her voice is feeble and was quite worried as he looks at her condition.

"Please help Me!!" As Ying Bai repeat herself she saw a boy and saw hope but the boy ran away without hesitation and she felt despair and questioned herself "Why?" doubts towards the boy why he left her alone.

She felt Doubts as she began getting sleepy and before she completely closed her eyes she suddenly saw a shadow.

The boy cameback with herbs within his arms. He began to treat the wound of the girl as if it was natural to him.

As he was about to finish the treatment Ying Bai suddenly woke up because of the intense pain.

Ying Bai noticed that the boy was treating her with care and remained quiet. Ying Bai inspect the boy with a looks quite pale and has a chubby face with messy dark hair while He also have red eyes and tattered clothes.

"Thank You!" Ying Bai Quietly said but the boy didn't heard her as he was busy looking towards the trees looking for fruits.

The boy climbed a tree that made Ying Bai looks towards the boy and felt worried.

"Catch!" the exclaimed boy at Ying Bai and throws at her the apples.The boy throws several apples to Ying Bai before he came down.

"There's a Water Stream about five minutes away from here." The boy told to Ying Bai and grabbed the apples. He began to walk away but Ying Bai didn't let him go and Hold his clothes.

"Hey girl let go! I'm just gonna wash the apples before we eat it." the boy rudely remarked but Ying Bai didn't still let go.

"What if you suddenly disappeared." Ying Bai Feebly said.

"I can't hear you."

"I said What if you suddenly Disappeared just like awhile ago left me alone!"

The boy was taken back but as he was about to retort he swallowed his words as he saw Ying Bai Crying.

The boy helplessly said "I promise I won't Leave you alone so can you please let go and let me wash the apples?"

Ying Bai Kept Quiet and still holding on.

"Ugh Don't you wanna eat?" the boy questioned but still Ying Bai Kept Quiet.

"You still cant walk so--- " I can Walk." as Ying Bai immediately reply and attempted to stand up but failed to do so.

The boy click his tongue and walks towards Ying Bai and Crouched down."Hop On."

Ying Bai Smiled and climbed towards his back.

As they saw the water Stream the boy walks towards a particular tree that looks as if though it lived for millions of years and let Ying Bai sits.

The boy busy himself with washing the apples that he didn't noticed that Ying Bai almost ate everything he washed until he was done.

"Glottonous." the boy's only remarked and that made Ying Bai embarrassed.

"Hey I was just hungry!" She replied.

As the boy ate the last apple and noticed that Ying Bai was shivering and took off his jacket and gave it to her.

"Thank You."

"Can't hear you!" as the boy amusingly said.

Ying Bai got annoyed but kept quiet and looks at the stars and was mesmerized by it's beauty.

"Wow!! So pretty!!" she exclaimed.

"Hey look it's a shooting star." the boy pointed out.

"Let's Make a Wish." Ying Bai excitedly said.

As Ying Bai Close her Eyes the boy however only looks sad as if he was through a lot which should not be in the eyes of a young boy.

"Did You make a wish?" Ying Bai Questioned as she opens her eyes.

"Nah." the boy reply.

"Why not." as Ying Bai got Curious.

"hehe kids only makes wishes."

"Hey your a kid too y'know" as Ying Bai got annoyed and answered back.

"So what was Your wished for." the boy questioned.

"Hehe I wished to live happily with my mama and papa." the girl shyly said.

"Oh? Don't you have a dream?"

"Of course I have a dream but I still wish to live happy life." Ying Bai said.

" Then what's your dream?" the boy Questioned.

"Hehe I wanna be a Star and a Singer!!" As Ying Bai puts her hand towards the sky.

"Why?"

"I can't?."Ying Bai confusedly reply back.

Which made the boy started to laugh because it's as if Ying Bai was saying that 'I just wanna do it got a problem.'

"How About You?" Ying Bai question back.

"Nope not telling you." as the boy made face to Ying Bai and got Ying Bai Cutely pout.

Ying Bai Suddenly kept quiet as she was beginning to feel drowsy but still push her self to stay awake and slap her face.

That made the boy stared blankly at Ying Bai and suddenly laughed.

"Why are you slapping your face." As the boy kept laughing.

"Hmph I'm staying awake so that you won't ran away and leave me alone!" Ying Bai replied.

The boy felt helpless and smiled "Fine how about this." As he took out his pendant that wraps around his neck. He break it into two and gave the other half to Ying Bai.

"Look here this is yours from now on and it will be the contract of our promise ,okay?" the boy remarked.

" But what if it isn't that Important to you." Ying Bai replied.

"Hey girl if you don't want it then give it to me!!" the boy angry said.

But Ying Bai refused to give it back.

" Okay Fine I'll believe you this time." As Ying Bai happily wraps it around her neck.

" Then Go to Sleep."

" Then Call Me "Bai Bai" before I sleep then." as Ying Bai feebly rub her eyes and laid her head towards the boy.

" Ugh Bai Bai Go to sleep." the boy sweetly said.

"Oh right what's your name?" As Ying Bai Bai drowsily close her eyes.

The boy for the first time smiled sweetly and looks at Ying Bai softly. "Xyn Theo Chrono."
