One Night

In a quiet alley, a homeless old man was staring at the dark side of the building about two blocks ahead,watching a couple do some unspoken scenes as a man on full black suit interrupt their sweet time.

A sudden spray of unknown substance was seen from their shadows, intimidating pressure was felt then a humongous hands squashed the homeless old man in a blink of an eye,

Blood started to fall from the sky one by one till it became uncountable. The lands became colorless, everything turned black and white. No person, animal, or other living being can be seen.

As the red blood flooded the whole colorless lands,group of small colorful balls appeared out of nowhere and spread widely. The ball visited every house to find their unknown owners to serve.

A giant black ball suddenly bounce out of the bloody flood,it searched and searched but almost every owner of the bed on the whole land has already been taken by the smaller balls.

The giant ball got dejected to know that, the giant ball can't just do nothing about it so even if it does die after the morning it'll try it's best to find a master worthy for it to serve.

The night is almost over,it's time is almost up. The giant ball can't believe he's going to die unemployed and worthless, as the giant ball think that,the giant ball laid on the orphanage as it watch the sun rise.

On its surprise,he was absorbed by a being before he disappeared completely.

With that,the uncolored land turned to normal, no corpse was seen in the alley and no sign of blood anywhere. The night when it all happens was called "one night" it was a night where everyone outside will die.

As the sun rise humans opened their eyes, they get off their bed and do their morning routine as if nothing has happened. On the orphanage,kids are still sleeping soundly.

The fifteen years old boy on the orphanage woke up and prepared breakfast for the kids, after cooking he opened every window to wake up the kids and made them eat before going to school.
