Boss monster

In the silence of the dungeon, there was a group of 10 people standing in front of a massive gate that towered over them, Even the guys that were 6 feet in height dwarfed in front of the monstrosity.

They all were wearing high-level Armor that looked expensive and all of them were above 6 levels, all of the armors were white in color and had a red lion imprinted on their chests.

Their ages varied from around 22 to 30 and all of them were standing in proper discipline. Other than those 10 there was a man who was the youngest among them and looked to be around 18.

He had no discipline at all and had a golden Armor that was far superior to the others and he held a flag that had the same symbol on it.

This was the youngest son of the guild master of "The White Lions" which was one of the 10 great guilds that dominated the area.

Although the guild when compared to the whole world was a small guild its power couldn't be questioned, The young kid whose name was Alex had an overconfident look on his face as he looked at the gate.

"Young master your father told you to first level up for a while before heading to the boss monster are you sure you want to disobey him" Asked a soldier, he had his head kneeled to show respect.

He knew that the kid was someone that he couldn't dare to offend but he also knew that going into the boss room immediately was suicide.

"Are you doubting my abilities?" A cold and short reply came that made the soldier sweat profusely as he immediately panicked.

"Absolutely not young master" He said trying to stop the situation from escalating but Alex just smirked.

"Then just focus on fighting" Alex replied cheekily and the soldier returned to his position however he was getting his teeth with all his strength trying to calm his anger.

Alex turned towards the soldiers and decided to give them a motivational speech,

"I know you all are worried about this fight however think about it! If we wait around someone else will steal the kill and we will merely pass. What's the point in that!"

"Instead of being average what if we kill the boss before anyone else and get the top score just imagine the riches you would obtain. Money woman properties popularity everything will be given to you."

The soldiers as they listened the nervousness was overcome by the greed in their hearts, Alex couldn't help but laugh in his mind.

Just by giving them a taste of candy they immediately forgot everything else, Now for the final touch Alex again started to talk.

"And even if we fail no need to worry, because we have the best E-Rank health potion that we can consume!" Alex shouted as he took out a bottle filled with light yellow liquid inside it.

The soldiers immediately forgot everything and started to get excited and Alex only smirked again looking at the lambs in front of him.

"Now we don't need to worry" said one of the soldiers to the others

"It's the white lion guild after all" said another one.

"WE WILL FOLLOW YOU MASTER ALEX" shouted another one and immediately all started chant for Alex, well all except one.

The man who had previously questioned Alex still had a calm mind and knew that this was just a trap to make him forget about the risks.

"We shall conquer this dungeon" Shouted Alex as he turned around and started to walk towards the dungeon.

"Yeah" shouted everyone else in unison.

*Creak* *grrrrr*

As soon as they stepped near the door the sounds of gears rotating around could be heard and the massive door slowly moved away and opened.

The smell of decaying meat immediately spread around the room and almost everyone wanted to puke.

But they forcefully stopped it since now they couldn't afford to do anything other than fight.

As the doors slowly opened the small gap only showed pure darkness inside of the room, They walked in while making a formation of "0" around Alex and started to observe the surroundings.

They all got the notification and understood who their enemy was, Walking forward one of the men raised his wand and a fire lit up at its apex.

As the light spread inside the room, a sight greeted them that rooted itself deep inside their memories and souls.

A sight of a giant beast that on its 4 legs stood at a height of 5 meters and probably if it stood on 2 legs it would reach around 10-15 meters.

It was a giant rat that had massive teeth and its eyes weren't normal they were just sockets with teeth covering them giving it a look of a jaw.

It hadn't noticed them since it had no eyes however it knew that there were invaders because of the sounds of the door.

The smell of the fire immediately gained its attention as it turned towards the group, The moment it looked towards the group his 3 sets of teeth (2 at the eye sockets and 1 at the actual mouth) flared open and he charged immediately.

*Screech*

The sight was so terrifying that no one dared to attack and everyone immediately dashed in the opposite direction.

Unfortunately, their running was useless as the giant beast that looked slow appeared in front of them in an instant blocking their paths.

The man that was questioning Alex knew something like this would happen and ran away First because of which he faced the monster first too.

*Clang*

The sounds of his teeth hitting each other in a bite were more like metal banging against each other.

The man was immediately cut in half by the bite and eaten immediately while the monster's other 2 mouths ate 2 more of the soldiers.

The sight was truly gruesome and everyone present there got goosebumps before they again rushed towards the opposite side however Alex was too stunned.

He fell onto the ground with a dazed look on his face as he stared at the monstrous creature staring back at him and unconsciously accepted his death.

Tears rolled down his face as he prayed with all his strength for God to save him however the creature didn't eat him, He just stood there with all three of its mouths grinning like a psychopath.

It was enjoying looking at its prey struggling to live.

However, it was as if his prayers were answered as an arrow suddenly out of nowhere flew in with such power that the wind could be felt throughout the room.

Even with such power as it hit against the beast it merely made it bleed slightly,

A little far away from the entrance of the boss room there stood a man with a bow in his hand,

"Tch my full-powered arrow didn't even do significant damage, I guess I will have to use the other arrows"
