"Urgghhhh! Damn"

"Are you okay?" Lena ran over to check on Stephan

The just bursted out of the window and crashed into some branches in the forest.

Fortunately Lena landed safely on a pile of sawdust but Stephan landed on the grasses with a branch pierced into his left thigh.

"Hey hey hey, stay calm you will be fine" Lena tried to calm his nerves reaching for the branch

"Wait! What are you trying to do now" Stephan resisted sweating profusely and in pains

"Relax I'm going to remove the branch, apparently it doesn't look that deep"

"I'm gonna bleed out Lena"

"Don't worry I'm not going to let anything happen you, you really saved me in there, this is the little i can do" She said tearing of a piece of her cloth smiling peacefully at him.

Stephan couldn't help but blush, totally forgetting about the pain till Lena dragged out the branch from his thigh.

"Arrrrghhhhhh" Stephan shouted in agony

"Shhhhh! Get a hold of yourself Steff, we aren't safe yet" Lena cautioned now tying up the injury on his thigh.

"Can you try to stand?" She asked stretching out a hand as she stood up

"I think i can do that" He took her hand stiffing his body as he tried to get on his feet.

"Mmmmmmmmm" he tried to subdue his urge to scream as he got up standing on his right leg favoring his injured left leg.

"Don't worry, i got you, you can lean on me as we walk but we can't just stay here".

She offered him support with his hands across her neck and on her shoulder. The both moved slowly into the forest not knowing exactly where to go.

Lena looked back at the building they came out from she could see the beaming lights high up in the building which read out *LT* she had no idea what it meant so she moved on with Stephan.

They both walked a couple of meters in silence until Stephan broke the silence.

"Hey Lena, what do you think about all this? Do you think we can really survive this?"

Lena looked down on the ground not knowing whether to say something encouraging to lift Stephan's spirit or to also express her fear and uncertainty.

"I think we can Stephan, i think we can survive this nightmare together, remember what the writing on the wall said"

"Hmm? Which one exactly?" Stephan asked trying to remember them

"Yes! That's it" Lena exclaimed rather quietly

"What is it"

"Those writings, yes those writings are guides and instructions, and probably our way out" Lena explained with rays of hope flashing in her eyes.

"You're right Lena, now that i think of it the green-eyed creature we saw at first indirectly showed us the way out of the building " Stephan replied

"Which fulfilled the first instruction which says humans can not lead the way" Lena further commented.

"And the second writing said Divided but Connected " "we have to find the others Stephan , we have to find them maybe when then something would happen " Lena said getting a bit excited at the idea that they probably have a chance to survive.

"But how do we find the others" Stephan asked

Lena thought for a while

"Divided but Connected, Divided but Connected " it kept replaying in Lena's mind

"Stephan where is Derek's dagger?"

"Oh here it is, why?" Stephan scrambled to find it , thereafter handing over to Lena.

Lena took the dagger, looked at it for a while. She then threw it up and watch it land on the grass.

"What are you doing?" Stephan asked in confusion

"Look we are going to follow the directions this dagger is pointed at, we would probably find Derek"

"Huhh? Probably? How do you know that? We would just get lost?"

" Look around we are already lost, if we are in a supernatural world right now I'm willing to take my chances with this" Lena told Stephan with belief in her eyes. Stephan could see her determination, which made him want to follow Lena's new-found superstition.

"Ok Lena let's go, let's follow the direction of the dagger, if this works out you might have just discovered something big".
