The Good Times

I was out for the weekend, i was going for a sleepover at a friends place, although boys don't normally call it a sleepover. I packed up a couple of clothes because there was no telling if i was going to be there for more than one night. I also packed up some necessary things like my tooth brush, hair gel and comb. Oh yeah and of course my video game (very necessary).

"Goodbye mum, take care of yourself till i get back and make sure you take your drugs as usual if i don't get back early in the morning, Love you mum".

*Only if i knew what would happen i would have stayed at home*

After getting a kiss and Goodbye from my mum i made my way out of the house and into a *not quite* new car that my dad left for me and my mum till he disappeared to no one knows where, i turned on the engine and in a minute i was down the slippery road it was raining quite heavily tonight, which gave me the quick thought of going back home. But as i drove on the thought gradually bleached away.

It was quite a driving distance to Michael's home but i arrived safely.

Before i could knock the door flunged open, it was Michael's little sister.

"Mummy mummy we have a visitor!" she exclaimed.

I stood at the door till a voice from inside permitted me in.

As i entered into the house i kept rolling my eyes trying to catch a glimpse of Michael but the only people i saw was his mum and little sister.

Before i could make my greetings she said "Don't you worry my child, Michael is upstairs with some friends he had been expecting you".

I could only gesture a bow in appreciation to his mum then headed upstairs.

*Some friends? I had no idea he invited some other people*

I got to the top, Michael's room was just right by the hallway. Opening his door without knocking i found Derek, Lena, Sophia, Stephan and of course Michael.

*You may be wondering why i talk about Michael at lot,  it's because we have been best friends since we were 6years old and now we are 15years old. Quite some time right or maybe not. And by the way my name is Collins*. We were often mistaken as brothers because we pretty much looked alike, we were about the same height but Michael would say he is taller but i would say his unkept hair always gave him the extra height. We had similarly shaped physique, brown eyes, cheek bones and properly carved lips.

As i was saying, i then sat down on the mat got welcoming handshakes from the guys and welcoming smiles from the girls. I grabbed a pop corn and continued watching a movie with them. It was a horror movie, i loved horror movies... Well not up till now.

The movie was about five kids that ventured into a old tavern of dragons thinking dragons were extinct... Well the rest is for you to guess. The movie also displayed the magician wonders of witches which Sophia obviously enjoyed.

At a point of the movie Lena got really freak out that she had to go to bed. I could tell Derek was scared too but had to put on the "MANLY CHARACTER".

After some time we were done with the movie and was time to go to bed, Stephan was already asleep at a corner of the room facing away from the television, *i guess he was scared after all *, the rest of us got our beds ready, greeting each other goodnight then falling asleep one by one. I have known horror movies to mess with ones mind but not to actually mess with ones world!!!

Around 2:30am at night i got up to take a piss and grab a drink of water. Then and there i realized i didn't see anyone in the room. I rushed back immediately to check the different rooms this time thinking it was a sort of prank from the others. But on getting to the room there was no sign that anybody lived there, no TV, no wardrobe, no ceiling fan.

"OMG!!! MICHAEL! DEREK! LENA! SOPHIA! STEPHAN!" But no response came. I was scared out of my wits. The place was dead silent, you could hear the cripping of the night cricket like a loud speaker.

Suddenly i noticed objects getting smaller in the room, it felt like a dream, it felt like the horror movie messing with me like never before, i pinched, slapped and scratched myself to wake up but i only felt the pain.

Now the roof was caving in, i knew what i had to do, i was scared to do it but i did it anyways. I ran out of the house into the night sky barely making it through the shrinking door.
