I walked towards them and was ready to squeeze life out of them , which I could if I wanted to.

I felt anger boiling inside me but I tried my best to contain it. I wanted to strangle them until they beg for their lives and the only thing holding me back was dianne, I didn't want to make a bad first impression.

I held them both by the collar and took in a deep breath .

"what do think you're doing ,man?" Reuben said when I grabbed them.

"I should be the one asking you that ,infact I will. what do you think you're doing?"

"let go " Jake said and they both tried to release themselves from grip.

"Kiss my *ss" reuben said and I didn't hesitate to punch him in the face .the mf fell unconscious immediately.

By the time I said that Reuben was already waking up. he looked like he was trying to process what just happened. he walked towards me as if he wanted to get back at me but Jake pulled his shirt and said something inaudible to him.

Reuben started looking at me with a snare. I don't know and I don't care what Jake told reuben both it most have gone through him.

I saw them walking towards dianne .

"what are you doing?"I questioned them

"we want to untie her".

"thank you very much but I have hands I can untie her myself" I said in a low but stern tone

"Just get lost" I told them and they walked away

I walked towards dianne who has been watching the whole show without uttering a single word. I started by asking; 'Are you okay?'

"no" she said with a tear coming out of her eyes. I wiped her tears with my handkerchief before removing the rope holding her hands .

Her hands were were sore due to the tight knot.

I looked at her eyes and they were swollen. she looks traumatized.

She caressed the sore part of her hand and her ankle .

I touched her ankle and she groaned in pain.

"Are you injured?" I asked and she bowed head. I cupped her face in my hand and looked her straight in the eye.

"You have nothing to worry about , you're safe now " I said in the most comforting way I could.

"thank you"she said but this time her voice was clearer . she has a really nice voice. Why would someone even think of hurting an angel like her.
