Set in a fictional place. The names of the places I have mentioned may exist but it's description is my imagination. A stroy of a young girl who runs away from her house and settles in a place named kinsale. Why did she have to run away from her house and use a pseudonym while telling her name? Things start to stir up in Amelia's life, when she meets a young CEO named Adrian Schneider. A slow burn romance and a feel good stroy! I do not want to tell anything about the story here. You can give it a try if you are searching for a feel good romance and I would be delighted to be supported by you guys.

Coldest Day

TWO WEEKS LATER!!!

Fire Crackling; beneath the utensil were the logs of wood and burning coal. A twenty-five-year-old girl, picked up a wooden ladle which laid by her side to mix the soup while adding the spices she brought from the market today. After mixing it well, she covered the utensil using a lid with the help of gloves and then took hold of the utensil to place it on the table. She gave a quick glance at the old woman who was observing her with utmost interest; she came across the old woman in the market on her way back to home. Today was one of the coldest days in winter and the woman whom she found in the market seemed to be too weak to even talk to her at that moment. She could not leave the old woman alone on the road. Hence, ended up bringing the woman to her place. It has been more than three hours since she brought her home but not even a single word came out from her mouth. She poured the soup into a bowl to give it to the old woman who was seated and added more wooden logs in the burning mantle piece to warm up the room. She strode towards her to give the bowl which the old woman took willingly with a bright smile on her face without taking an eye off her. There was a kind of excitement in the old woman's eyes which made the young girl smile at her softly.

"What is your name?" The woman questioned startling the girl.

"_ A_ Amelia. People usually call me Amy," the young girl stuttered.

"Amy," the woman repeated thoughtfully and nodded as she blew the soup on the spoon before tasting it.

"How are you feeling?" Amelia asked her, with concern.

"I feel better now." The woman answered but her voice was still weak and her face was pale.

"If you could tell me your address. I will drop you at your house." Amelia suggested her because she wanted to inform her relatives that the woman was fine but should be taken to the hospital.

"What do you do for a living, Amy?" the woman asked completely ignoring Amelia's question. The woman didn't seem to be poor because there was a charm on her pale face even though she would be in her mid-seventies. The way she gripped the spoon feeding herself into her mouth and the way she let out her words were undoubtedly expected from a woman from the upper class. Amelia gave a thought if she should lie to her since she never met her before, but a huge part of Amelia could not lie to an old woman who looked innocuous and at the same time Amelia could not reveal the truth.

" I'm in search of one," Amelia gulped down and answered when her life before coming to Kinsale, flashed on her mind.

"Here? In this place?" the woman asked with a hint of curiosity.

Amelia sighed deeply before she continued. "Yes," was only word Amelia uttered because she was being cautious by not spitting out too much about her, the less people know about her, the better it is for her.

Amelia did speak the truth but not completely. "Oh God!! You don't have job and you are living all by yourself?!" the woman exclaimed and in exchange Amelia gave her a meek smile. Amelia was not alone though.

"Umm...Granny, it is getting late. Your family members might be worrying for you." Amelia said to divert the topic.

"You are new to this place, aren't you?" the old woman said disregarding Amelia's question yet again.

The woman's speculation was absolutely right. It has been less than a month since Amelia came to this place to live here or you could say to hide in this place from her cruel reality. Amelia was hiding at a place which is in the quieter parts of the modern seaside-village.

"You could say that," Amelia replied and took the empty bowl from her to place it aside.

Amelia heard a bell buzz at her door. She looked at the clock and noticed it was odd that someone is at her door at this hour of time; it was nine in the evening. She started to sweat thinking what if she was found. She didn't want to go back to her place not when she was finding herself and started to adjust with her new life. She had to put a lot of effort in her plan to escape and she didn't want to get caught this soon.

"Sooner than I expected," muttered the old woman and motioned Amelia to open the door through her eyes. She cursed herself for being paranoid all of a sudden; gulping a mouthful of saliva, Amelia slowly strode to her door not wanting to open it, but she was left with no other choice but to open it because the person on the other side was impatiently buzzing the bell.

"Have you seen a woman..." a man in his late thirties queried tentatively as worry drew upon his nerves. Amelia heaved a sigh of relief ignoring the fact for what he came in search of. The man who came to ask her about something stepped back thinking it would only waste his time by asking her further. After the man left, Amelia saw the commotion in her neighborhood wondering what the reason might be; and then her complete attention was shifted to a deep husky voice. It was very cold outside and above all, it was snowing but that didn't stop few people running around. The man who caught her attention seemed like their superior, his voice and the way he rooted his feet on the ground gloriously was enough for her to understand that he was a powerful man, but who was he? And why would a person like him would come in her neighborhood? Her eyes followed the way he was looking, he was ordering his men to search every corner in the village, his movements halted only when he looked at her side. Amelia's breath was kept on hold when his eyes were fixed upon her. He was tall and his well-built body cannot be left unnoticed even though he wore a coat. He widened his eyes as he approached her; Amelia felt something was stuck in her throat. Within no time he was standing in front of her.

"I have been searching for you." His words sounded as if he found something he thought to be lost forever and the world around her was stopped. She could not think anything at that moment because all she could feel was her heartbeat race as every second passed by.
