Chapter three.

  Eric's eyes widened when he saw the clothes on the bed. They were all very clean, very very neat.

"Wow" he said. Katrina was the first lady to wash his clothes and wash it well apart from his personal dry cleaner.

"She's really hardworking" he said on remembering how the house was sparkling when he came in.

He felt bad for talking that way to her. He really needs to apologise to her.

Damn it!! Apologizing is not his thing but this is something he must do.

"You dare touch my clothes with those hands of yours" he remembered his own words and cringed.

Coming out of his room, he locked his door and went downstairs, making up his mind to apologise to her.

Katrina saw him coming down the stairs and her heart beat became faster. Those clothes cost a lot and she doesn't have such amount of money to pay him back.

"God help me!" she said inwardly.

"You're sure you washed those clothes yourself? " he asked.

Katrina noticed he was cool now and she relaxed a bit.

"Yes Sir " she replied.

"Okay " he said.

"You can go now " he said to Alvin.

"Okay boss " Alvin replied bowing a little before leaving.

"Thank you " he said.

"Wait, did he just thank me??"Katrina asked herself.

Eric felt weird saying thanks to her but she deserves it. To cover up his weird feeling, he started climbing the stairs up to his room but paused on a second thought.

"And I'm sorry for talking that way " he said then walked hurriedly to his room. He don't think he has ever apologized to anyone before except his parents.

Katrina was speechless. She was dumbfounded.

Did the almighty Eric just apologize??

"Woah, I think I need to clean my ears. I don't think I heard him well." She said to herself still in shock.

Eric came out again, he saw her still standing in the sitting room with surprise written all over her face.

"Stop standing here, go and start preparing dinner, I'm really hungry " he said.

"Okay Sir " she replied, coming back to her senses and hurried away to the kitchen.

She got to the kitchen and brought out her cooking materials. She loves cooking and she has more than enough ingredients and utensils to carry out this action.

She didn't know what to prepare, so she decided to make bacon. She began cooking.

Soon she was done, the bacon was ready and the whole house smelled of Bacon. Eric could perceive the smell from his room. He just pray the food tastes nice.

Katrina scooped the bacon onto a glass plate. She went to the dinning table to set the table before bringing in the plate of bacon. She brought some orange juice too.

After setting the table, she went up to her boss room to call him, he came down after a while looking refreshed. He had his bathe already, he was wearing his pajamas.

He walked to the dinning table and sat down.

"I thought you're gonna make soup" he said.

"You said you were hungry so I fixed something light and easy " Kat replied.

"Okay" he said.

He started eating, few minutes into the meal he started nodding his head unconsciously. Katrina saw him nod his head in approval but he didn't say a word to her to commend her about the meal.

There was a knock on the door and she went to check who it was.

It was Molly! The same lady that left angrily last night.

Why's she here??

"Does she come here every night?" Kat asked herself.

"Good evening " Kat greeted.

"Evening " Molly replied before walking pass her. She saw Eric eating and walked towards him.

"Hey Eric " she said.

"Hi Molly, why are you here?? " he asked.

My boss asked the same question I was asking myself.

"Who cooked? " she asked not answering his question.

"She did " Eric said pointing to Katrina. Katrina felt she needed to excuse them so she bowed slightly to her boss, excused hetself and went into the kitchen to clean things up. She could still hear their discussion from the kitchen as Molly was unnecessary loud.

"I want to apologize " Molly started.

"It's alright " Eric replied.

Wow, why's she apologizing??

Eric is the one at fault here. He was caught in bed with another woman and Molly is the one apologizing??

"Wonders shall never end" Katrina said scoffing.

She wondered the kind of charm he's using on women. Peeping from the kitchen as they suddenly became quiet, she saw them stood up, then Eric was kissing Molly.

"Come here baby, come and show me what you've got" her boss said with flirty eyes.

"With all pleasure" Molly replied.

They climbed the stairs and went up to his room. Katrina shook her head wondering what kind of woman Molly was. She came out of the kitchen and went to the dinning table to clear the table and pack the used plates to the kitchen. She noticed her boss finished his meal. She was feeling tired already so she needed to do the dishes quick and retire to bed.

After she was done with everything she was doing in the kitchen, she decided to go back to her room. On her way to her room, she heard loud moans from her boss room.

"What kind of oppression is this?" she asked herself.

Molly is really easy, if it were to be her, she would have acted stubborn a little and not just allowing him have sex with her after what happened last night.

"Well, that's her business" she said, opened her room's door and entered her room.

Time to take her bathe!!

She went into the bathroom, pulled her clothes and took her bathe. She came out of the bathroom afterwards feeling refreshed. She dried her body, applied her cream before putting on her night robe to retire to bed. Climbing her bed, she drew the blankets to her body and slept off.

Next morning ✨✨

Katrina's phone alarm rang and she woke up. Checking the time and seeing that it was almost seven in the morning, she came down from her bed. She needs to prepare her boss breakfast.

Walking into the bathroom, she started brushing her teeth. Few minutes she was through, coming out of the bathroom she tied her night robe well and hurried downstairs.

She went into the kitchen and switched on the kitchen lights. She have to make coffee first, her boss likes drinking coffee first thing in the morning.

Just as the coffee was ready, he came into the kitchen.

"Good morning Sir " Kat greeted.

"Morning " he replied in a cold tone.

"Well, I'm not surprised. I'm used to it already. He's back to his normal self."Katrina said inwardly.

"Give me a cup of coffee " he said.

"Okay sir " she replied and did as she was told. She didn't add milk as he doesn't like it with milk.

He drank it and kept the cup in the kitchen sink.

"I'm leaving for the office by 9. The food should be ready before then " he said.

"Okay Sir " Kat replied and he left.

She began cooking. She brought out her flour and other baking ingredients. She was planning on baking her favorite biscuits and chocolate cookies.

She started mixing the flour, sugar, butter and all and stirred all together. Soon, the mixture for the biscuits and cookies were ready. She started cutting out different shapes for the biscuits.

She put both the biscuits and chocolate cookies in the oven. She remembered baking with her mother and singing along with her.

Katrina waited for some time before opening the oven, the biscuits were golden brown and the cookies were baked already. She brought them out and placed them on a plate.

Rinsing her Boss favorite plate, she played some cookies and biscuits on his plate and took it to the dinning table.

She came back to the kitchen, took a glass cup and poured milk into it and took it to the dinning table too.

Breakfast was ready!!

Katrina went upstairs to tell her boss his breakfast was ready. She knocked on the door and he came to open it.

"Your breakfast is ready Sir " she said.

"What did you prepare? " he asked.

"Chocolates cookies, biscuits and milk " she replied.

"Okay. I'm coming down soon " he said.

"Okay Sir " Kat replied.

Katrina peeped through his door and saw Molly curled up on his bed, she has forgotten that Molly came here last night.

Eric called Katrina and she went downstairs to answer him. She was in her room. She went down and noticed he was through with eating, his plates were empty. He was also fully dressed for work.

"Molly said she wants to have breakfast in bed. Any moment from now, you should take some cookies and milk to her " he said.

"But Sir, do I really have to serve her in bed??.. I work for you not her " Kat said protesting. She won't allow herself be treated like a slave to that thing upstairs.

"Molly is my fiancee and you must treat her with respect, not only her, every of my women. " he said.

"Okay Sir " Kat replied grudgingly.

"Good " he said then stood up from his chair taking his briefcase with him.

"Tell her I left already " he said and she nodded.

He walked pass, opened the door and went out of the house.

"He didn't even commend me for my cookies. Tch.."Katrina said after he left.

She packed the plates to the kitchen and rinsed another plate, dishing out some cookies and biscuits, pouring milk into a glass cup and putting them all on a tray, she took it to Molly.

When Kat got there, Molly was sitting on the bed with her phone in her hands. Katrina greeted her, then dropped the tray on the bed. Without waiting for her to say a word,she quickly left the room.

Katrina served breakfast for herself too. The cookies were still remaining, so she decided to take some to Alvin. She had totally forgotten about him.

She carried a tray containing a glass of milk and cookies to Alvin. He was happy on seeing her.

He collected the tray from her and sat down on a bench. Katrina sat beside him and they discussed as he ate.

"Nice cookies " he said.

"Thank you " she replied.

"You really can cook " he said.

She smiled at him.

"You are really lucky that boss didn't say anything after checking the clothes " he said.

"That was because there's nothing for him to complain of. I washed it clean " she said proudly and he laughed.

"You are hardworking, beautiful and smart " he said.

"Don't flatter me" Kat replied. She was blushing already.

"I'm serious. Why did you come to work as a live in maid? " he asked.

"Ummm... It's personal " she replied and he gave her a weird look.

"Plus I need the money, Boss pays well " she quickly added to avoid any suspicion.

"Ooh I see " he replied nodding.

"Yeah. I think you're through " I said.

"Yeah "he replied.

"Okay, let me take the plates back to the kitchen and wash them " she said and he nodded.

"Thank you" he said.

"You're welcome " Kat replied and took the plates back to the kitchen.

She saw Molly standing at the doorway of the kitchen, she was fully dressed. She was about leaving.

Good for her!!

"Nice cookies " Molly said to Katrina.

"Thank you " Kat replied.

"But don't think you can win Eric over with your cooking and all" Molly said.

"Excuse you.. What do you mean? " Kat asked.

"You know what I mean. Eric is mine alone and you should stay clear. You're clearly not his type but who knows you might seduce him to fall for you " she said.

"I don't have to seduce him, he clearly is going to fall for me" Kat retorted back and smiled at Molly's facial expression.

Molly gave her a hard look.

"You're joking. How about you work for me? " she said.

"Huh? "

"I want you to monitor all his movements and women he's meeting and give me feedbacks " she said and Katrina laughed.

"I'm sorry but I can't do that, I came here to work as a maid not as a monitoring spirit. Give your job to someone else " Kat replied.

"Fine, suit yourself. I'm leaving " she said.

"Bye" Kat replied.

Molly cat walked passed Katrina, opened the door and left. Katrina shook her head wondering how someone as beautiful as Molly could be so stupid. She went into the kitchen to do the dishes.
