62 Ch. 60 - Save Our Souls
As soon as I defeated the second Grunt, A loud bang rang through the floor, and the locked door opened.
Since I knew I would be facing the Boss inside the room, I chose to head back to the Pokemon Center and heal my Pokemon first.
Using the elevator, I went back to the first floor and then to the 'Rocket Game Corner' using the stairs.
After exiting the 'Rocket Game Corner', I used <Teleport > to quickly travel to the Pokemon Center.

Inside the Pokemon Center, I quickly healed my Pokemon.
After healing the Pokemon, I went back to the 'Rocket Game Corner' and then used the stairs to the 'Team Rocket Hideout'.

Using the elevator, I went to the fourth floor.
Back on the fourth floor, it was time to finally face the Boss of the Team Rocket.
Moving into the room, there was a man sitting alone on a sofa. The man was wearing a black tuxedo with a black hat.

Something weird happened, Giovanni who was busy with his monologue, suddenly stopped.
His dialogue was cut in the middle, and he lowered his head as if his soul left his body.
And then, as If electrocuted, he came back to life.

He started to breathe heavily, and then he looked at me.
Even though he looked the same, but something changed inside him.
Unlike normal NPCs, whose eyes were lifeless as if their body was just a shell without souls, the same for Giovanni as well.
But now his eyes were full of life, like his soul returned to his body.
Giovanni looked at me with his eyes full of life.
"Listen carefully as I don't have much time." Giovanni said.
"Okay" I subconsciously replied.
"You need to get strong. Far stronger than anyone else, even us."
"WE have been observing you for a while, and we know that you have the potential."
"So you must get stronger and save everyone."
"Wait, Wait, Wait!" I said.
"What are you talking about? Who is WE? Why do I need to get stronger? And from whom do I need to save everyone?"

"To answer your question, WE are everyone, the strongest of this World."
"You need to get stronger to be able to face HIM and save everyone."

He quickly came close to me and grabbed me by my shoulders.

Before he could finish what he was saying, the room was filled with golden light which blinded me.
The next thing I knew, I was inside the Pokemon Center.

Ignoring the notifications, I was in a state of confusion and fear.
"Who was that? I don't think he was Giovanni. And that golden light. It teleported me here."
"I need to get back to the 'Team Rocket Hideout'." I said as I healed my Pokemon since I didn't know what I might encounter there.
After healing my Pokemon, I went back to the 'Rocket Game Corner'.

Inside the 'Team Rocket Hideout', I used the elevator to get to the fourth floor. Quickly moving inside the room, I expected to find something or someone inside.
But there was nothing inside the room. Giovanni had vanished, and there was no clue about what happened earlier.
Disappointed, I exited the hideout and the game corner.
"Things are becoming more and more complicated."
"This world has just become more fearful; first those glitching NPCs, then that headache which affected me in the real world, and now this."
"I thought this world was a peaceful world based on the games, but there seems to be much more about this world than what meets the eye. Something dark."

Using <Teleport >, I traveled to the Pokemon Center.
Moving to the sitting area, I sat down and exited the Pokemon World.
I woke up on my bed inside my apartment.
As soon as my consciousness came back, I immediately noticed something sticky covering my whole body.
If I were in some cartoon world, then it would seem as if I were covered in a rainbow. But this is reality, and I was covered with my breakfast that I probably threw up after spinning on the spin tiles.
