55 Ch. 53 - Wanted Man

"It really is a Magical World." I remarked, taking in the breathtaking scenery.

As I watched the Pokemon World, the time flew by, and the sunset painted the sky in hues of orange and red.

*Growl*

"Um, I forgot to eat lunch again." I said as my stomach growled from hunger.

"Such a Magical World that it makes you forget everything else." I said as I exited the Pokemon World.

Back in the Real World, as I got up I felt something weird. Some parts of my face felt stiff.

I used my hand to touch my face and as I did, I scraped a layer of dried blood from my face.

"What the heck!!!"

Looking at the blood, I panicked and ran to the bathroom to take a look, as I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw trails of dried blood coming out of my nose and my eyes.

I quickly wiped off the blood and took a close look at myself for any signs of injury, but I didn't find anything that could explain the blood.

"What the hell happened to me?"

"From the looks of it, the blood isn't fresh and has dried quite some time ago."

I quickly remembered the time when my head hurt like hell when I tried to look at the weird golden code on that NPC's computer.

"It seems that the blood is because I forcefully looking at that weird code."

This was the only reasonable explanation since there was no other possible reason for me to bleed from my eyes and nose.

I examined my whole body for any problem but aside from the dried blood, I felt completely fine.

Finding no problem with my body, I exit the bathroom. 

After coming out of the bathroom, the first thing I did was order a lot of food. While ordering the food, I also noticed some notifications, which I decided to check out after filling my stomach.

Since I ordered from a nearby outlet, the food arrived quickly. After eating and filling up my hunger bar, I picked up my phone to check out the notifications.

Most of the notifications were from the message that Lily sent, and some of the notifications were from the Pokemon Forum about the latest articles.

I decided to start with the Pokémon forums because I was curious as to how the world reacted to the announcement.

[Stuck On The 'Vermilion City' Gym Puzzle]

Some interesting headlines appeared on the screen. However, the last headline didn't surprise me, as I expected players to struggle with that puzzle for a while.

"This feeling never gets old" I said as I clicked on the first headline which had my name in it.

[EXCLUSIVE : Dipper Did It]

[Today marks the beginning of a legend as Dipper has become the first Player to have earned 4 Gym Badges.]

[Not only us, but even the Pokemon World has congratulated Dipper with 'World Announcement'. 'World Announcement' announced Dipper's achievement three times throughout the Pokemon World for everyone to hear. And as the name suggests, 'World Announcement' was not limited to the 'Kanto Region' as reports have come that Players from other regions have also heard the 'World Announcement'.]

[But that's just the start as earning 4 Gym Badges seems to have given Dipper access to two important functions of Pokemon World which according to the 'World Announcement' are 'Region Traveling' and 'World Portal'.]

[Anyway, Earning 4 Gym Badges appears to be a big deal as even the Pokemon World announced it to everyone.]

[But now the question is, How did Dipper manage to earn 4 Gym Badges so quickly when no one else has managed to even earn their second Gym Badge.]

[After Players reached 'Vermilion City' and found Dipper's name engraved on the Stone Statue in the 'Vermilion City' Gym, everyone assumed that Dipper now had 2 Gym Badges, but in just a few days Dipper successfully earned 4 Gym Badges.]

[What is the secret to Dipper's rapid progress? How is he able to advance so quickly? How did his Pokemon get so strong? What is the relation of those lines to Dipper's progress?]

[Many questions, but all of them are left unanswered unless Dipper himself comes forward and answers them.]

"So, no one has reached 'Cerulean City' yet."

[HOT : Region Traveling]

['Region Traveling', one of the functions that unlock when a Player earns 4 Gym Badges.]

[After Dipper, the first Player to earn 4 Gym Badges, earned his 4th Gym Badge, a 'World Announcement' was made in celebration of that. But only after a couple of minutes another 'World Announcement' was made.]

[This 'World Announcement' stated that Dipper is the first Player to unlock 'Region Traveling' along with 'World Portal'.]

['Region Traveling' is a function which allows a Player to travel from one region to another giving a Player access to the complete Pokemon World.]

[The complete details of this function are not known as all the information about 'Region Traveling' is known from the 'World Announcement'. But some Players speculate that it has something to do with the Sailor present at the harbor of 'Vermilion City'.]

[Based on the information available, we suspect that the Sailor will take the Player to other regions but before that, the Sailor will check if the Player has at least 4 Gym Badges or not.]

"Damn, who is the author of this article? They manage to figure out so many details." I wondered aloud, impressed by their insights.

I checked the author's name, but it seems that the author had chosen to remain anonymous

"'Anonymous' huh, whoever the author is, they are pretty good at their work."

Well, moving on to the next article which is from the same author.

[HOT : World Portal]

['World Portal', another one of the functions that unlock when a Player earns 4 Gym Badges.]

[After Dipper, the first Player to earn 4 Gym Badges, earned his 4th Gym Badge, a 'World Announcement' was made in celebration of that. But only after a couple of minutes another 'World Announcement' was made.]

[This 'World Announcement' stated that Dipper is the first Player to unlock 'World Portal' along with 'Region Traveling.]

['World Portal' is a function which allows a Player to bring Pokemon and/or Items from Pokemon World to the Real World.]

[This is the function that everyone is aiming for, To be able to bring Pokemon to our World.]

[Currently, we don't know the details about this function, what is its limitation? or what is it capable of?]

[Only Dipper can answer these questions but ignoring all this, people are beyond excited to finally see Pokemon in the Real World.]

[Rumors have it that many people are willing to spend a fortune to get a Pokemon and using this to advantage many scams are scamming people by posing as Dipper and promising to trade Pokemon for a hefty sum of money.]

[Though it would help if Dipper revealed his identity but at the same time we can understand Dipper's decision to hide his identity as now he is probably the most important person in the World. The only person that can bring those magical creatures to this World as well as have complete control over them.]

"Interesting article and the author is right. I might be the most important person and many powerful people will not stop until they get their hands on me."

Moving on.

[EXCLUSIVE : Pokemon In Real World]

[Since Dipper has unlocked 'World Portal', it is only a matter of time before we see Pokemon in Real World.]

['World Portal' is the function which allows the Player to bring Pokemon and/or Items from Pokemon World to Real World.]

[And according to 'World Announcement', Dipper has unlocked the 'World Portal' function.]

[It is exciting as we can now have Pokemon in the Real World, people who couldn't enter Pokemon World are excited to finally be able to witness the greatness of Pokemon especially those who couldn't enter Pokemon World because of the age limit.]

[As exciting as it may be, but having Pokemon in the Real World is a boon and a curse. we have all those magical creatures with magical abilities on one hand we can use those abilities for the good of the World but on the other hand since Pokemon World is not limited to anyone that means people who want to use Pokemon for evil also have access to them.]

[Imagine what a Pokemon like Onix can do if used by terrorists or thieves. How much damage Charmander can do with his flames?]

[Even though everyone is excited by the soon arrival of Pokemon, we should also be mindful of the potential danger that Pokemon pose when in the wrong hands.]

"Among all the articles, I believe this one pointed out a crucial point that many seem to have missed because of the excitement.

"Pokemon are dangerous."

I move on to the last article which was posted by the 'Pokemon Union'.

[POKEMON UNION OFFICIAL : Searching For Dipper]

[Everyone, This is an Official announcement made by the 'Pokemon Union'.]

[Dipper who has earned 4 Gym Badges and has unlocked the 'World Portal' function which allows Dipper to bring Pokemon to our World.]

[As we all know Pokemon have many mysterious and magical abilities which could be used by the Pokemon in many ways.]

[And because of that we believe that Pokemon can be dangerous if controlled by an unknown person who could use them for their own gain without any limitation.]

[That is why we believe that it would be best for everyone that Dipper reveal his identity so that we, the 'Pokemon Union' could ensure that the Pokemon are not used for anything evil.]

[As well as also ensure that Dipper doesn't monopolize the Pokemon and Items from Pokemon World. It could be dangerous if one person controls all the Pokemon.]

[The situation will be dire until someone else also earns 4 Gym Badges and can take Pokemon out to our World. Only then will we have a means to protect ourselves by using Pokemon against Pokemon.]

[That's why it is important that we find out who Dipper is and this type of situation doesn't happen.]

[But it is difficult as long as Dipper doesn't reveal his identity, it could also mean that Dipper might have an alter motive and because of that doesn't want to reveal his identity.]

[We, at the 'Pokemon Union' are doing our best to find out who Dipper is, but it is very difficult to find Dipper's real identity based on the information from Pokemon World.]

[That is why, 'Pokemon Union' is asking for your help in finding Dipper.]

[Anyone who has any clue related to Dipper will be rewarded with $10,000 and if you know the identity of Dipper then you will be rewarded with $100,000.]

[Please note that any false information to gain reward will be treated as conspiring against 'Pokemon Union' and the perpetrator will be punished seriously.]

"So now I am unofficially a wanted man." Just as I said that my eyes fell on the message that I received from the bank about the transaction I made to pay for the food.

"Fuck! They have my information" I said as I remembered the details I filled in on the 'Pokemon Union' website when I was registering as an active Player to receive the monthly allowance.

"They have all my data in their database, but they still haven't found me. That would mean that among all the people named Dipper, they don't have any way of identifying me."

"But if they investigate every Dipper who is an active Player and has selected 'Kanto' as the starting region then it is only a matter of time before they find me."

"I need to hurry and bring Porygon into the Real World as soon as possible."
