32 Ch. 30 - Unexpected Addition

I pressed <Yes >, and the small box burst into golden light and disappeared as a notification appeared.

Five Poke Balls, mainly white in color, appeared from the Random Box.
'I was expecting something more useful, but I got these trash Poke Balls instead.' I thought as I put the Premier Balls in my backpack.
'I still have two more quests to complete; maybe I will get something good from them.' I thought as I started heading towards the north of 'Vermilion City'.

When I entered 'Route 6', I noticed something strange, the NPCs whom I had already defeated had two exclamation marks floating over their heads.
'This must be because of the 'VS Seeker'; I can have rematches with the NPCs that I have defeated.'
'But currently, I am not in the mood for more Pokemon Battles.' I thought as I ignored the NPCs and made my way to the Underground Path.

When I exited the Underground Path and got on 'Route 5', It was already dark outside.
Something that I hadn't noticed before because I would always stay in the Pokemon World during the daytime, but now I see that this world also has a Day and Night cycle which is synced to the real world.
Quickly making my way to 'Cerulean City', I reached the first small tree which was in between 'Cerulean City' and 'Route 5'.
[This tree looks like it can be CUT down!]

Description - A Small Tree is blocking the path of 'Cerulean City' to 'Route 5'. Find a way to cut the Small Tree and open the path.

Deadline - Until someone else cuts the Small Tree.

After collecting the reward, another golden box appeared, which I opened.

Clicking on <Use > to check which one of my Pokemon can learn the move, and unsurprisingly only Charmeleon can learn the move.
Just as I was about to close the window, I saw something moving in the dark which took my attention away from where I was clicking and...

"What!!!" I quickly looked at the notification.
To confirm whether the notification was correct, which it would be since the system wouldn't make mistakes but hope in my heart that the notification was wrong, I checked Charmeleon's move pool using PokeDEX.

"Sign, I guess I shouldn't have celebrated so soon. Anyway, it's not like the TM can be recovered now, and it's not a bad thing for Charmeleon to learn <Dragon Claw>."
After looking at the move pool of Charmeleon, I entered 'Cerulean City'.

Good thing the Bike Shop was close to the place where the small tree was. I entered the Bike Shop to exchange the Bike Voucher for a Bike.
"Oh, that's a Bike Voucher" said the shop owner as I showed him the Bike Voucher.
"Yes, I would like to exchange it for a Bicycle."
"Okay, Here you go." said the shop owner as he gave me a brand-new Bicycle and took the Bike Voucher.

"Thank You, Come back again sometime."
'Now, that I have the bicycle, how the fuck am I going to carry it around?' I thought as I looked at the red color bicycle.
'In the game, the bicycle can be put inside the backpack, but now looking at the size of the bicycle and the size of the backpack, will it be possible to put it inside?'
"I'll only know when I try" I said as I opened my backpack and tried to cover the bicycle with it. Surprisingly, just as a small part of the bicycle entered the backpack, the whole bicycle got distorted and sucked inside the backpack.
Looking at the empty space where the bicycle was, I checked my backpack.
[Bicycle : A folding bicycle that allows faster movement than the Running Shoes.]
Sure enough, the bicycle was there, inside the backpack.
I thought of taking the bicycle out, and a similar phenomenon occurred as a distorted bicycle came out of the backpack and turned into a normal working bicycle in front of my eyes.
Again putting away the bicycle, I exited the shop.
"Now, The only thing left is to cut the small tree on 'Route 9'."
Going back on 'Route 5' through the section which was blocked by the small tree previously, I made my way through 'Route 9'.

It had gotten a lot darker while I was inside the shop and because of that, I had to slow down and move carefully.

Soon, I was in front of the small tree on 'Route 9'.

Looking at the small golden box which appeared after the quest was completed, I had mixed feelings about whether to open it right now or to save it for later.
'Even though I didn't get anything grand from the other boxes, I have a feeling that I might get something interesting from this one.'

"Something new appeared" looking at a red and blue color paper ticket. I immediately checked its information.
[Random Region Pokemon Ticket - A paper ticket which will give a random Pokemon when torn.
Note 1 - The Pokemon will depend on the region the user is in. That means the user can't get Region exclusive Pokemon from other Regions.
Note 2 - The Pokemon will have a random level but the Maximum level will depend upon the user's Max Obedience level.]
"So, I can get a random Pokemon that can be found in this region, and the level of the Pokemon is going to be random but wouldn't be higher than my Max Obedience level."
Now comes the question, should I use it now? or should I save it and use it after I have defeated the Gym leader of 'Vermilion City' which will increase my Max Obedience level?
If I use it now I might get a Pokemon which could be helpful in the Gym challenge.
After careful consideration, I tore the ticket and as I did, the ticket turned into white particles.

Notification after notification appeared as soon as I tore the ticket and just as the notification stopped, the white particles converged and turned into a Poke Ball.
Just as I was looking at the newly appeared Poke Ball, it turned into a white light and disappeared.

"Oh A Rhyhorn, I didn't expect to get a Ground-Type. It will be a huge help when facing the gym leader of 'Vermilion City'."
I was happy by the unexpected addition but I refrained from celebrating too early as I needed to first check its Level and Stats.
"Now that I have done all the things, It is time to return back to 'Vermilion City'."
I thought of taking out Abra and his Poke Ball appeared, upon holding the Poke Ball an option appeared.
[Use Teleport]
I pressed on the <Use Teleport>.
[Abra used Teleport]
Everything shifted before my eyes and the next thing I knew, I was inside the Pokemon Center.

Looking at the notification, I can confirm that I am back in 'Vermilion City'.
Quickly moving to the PC, excited to check the information of Rhyhorn, I opened the PC.
