And Just like that, I drifted into the sweet embrace of the night.

I woke up late, because of exhaustion and after eating something, I entered the Pokemon world.

I was back in the Pokemon Center. Moving to the PC by the corner of the Pokemon Center.

Chosing <Dipper's PC Box>, I put all my Pokemon into the Box and took out one of the Oddish that I caught.

Now I only had an Oddish of Level 4 on my team. I can now try the 'Infinite Nugget' trick.

Exiting the Pokemon Center, I made my way back to the bridge. Moving past all the five NPCs, I was at the end of the bridge where stood a blond man.

"Congratulations! You beat our five contest Trainers."

"You just earned a fabulous prize."

[You received a NUGGET from the mystery Trainer.]

"By the way, how would you like to join Team Rocket?"

"We're a group of Professional criminals specializing in Pokemon"

"Want to join?"

Before I could say Yes or No, The NPC spoke again.

"Are you sure?"

"Come on, join us."

"I'm telling you to join."

"Okay, you need convincing"

"I'll make you an offer you can't refuse"

Since I had planned on losing this battle, I chose to use <Growth > while Ekans used <Bite >, resulting in a one-hit KO for Oddish.

And just like that, I was engulfed in a white light, next thing I knew I was inside the Pokemon Center.

'Now I just need to go back to the bridge and challenge the grunt again. And if the exploit worked, then I should get another Nugget.'

Quickly making my way back on the bridge, I came in front of the grunt.

But unlike last time when the interaction triggered automatically as soon as I came in his line of sight, this time he didn't say anything.

Moving close to him, I interacted with him.

"With your ability, you'd become a top leader in Team Rocket."

"Come on, think of the opportunity. Don't let this chance go to waste."

After saying that the grunt went back to being a motionless statue.

"What...?"

'This is not how it was supposed to happen. The grunt should given me a Nugget while repeating the same dialogues that he said to me previously, and after that, he should have challenged me for a Pokemon Battle.'

'But now his dialogues have changed and he didn't challenge me again.'

It seems that it is not possible to perform exploits in this world, Even though this world strictly follows the Pokemon games.

"Oh well, that's a bummer," I lamented, disappointed by the unexpected turn of events.

Sad that it is not possible to perform exploits, I made my way back to the Pokemon Center and changed my team back to how it was.

'Now that I can access 'Route 24', I can grind there with high-level Pokemon.'

Walking back along the same path, I crossed the bridge and turned left, where a large section of tall grass was located.

Just as I ventured into the tall grass, I accidentally triggered a Pokemon battle with an NPC.

After defeating the NPC, the Poke Ball of Bellsprout flew out of my body and Bellsprout was summoned out of its Poke Ball.

Similar to what happened when Charmander evolved into Charmeleon, the Bellsprout burst into white light which lasted for 3 seconds and when the light faded, Bellsprout was replaced by a new Pokemon.

Next chapter
