Mysterious man dumping responsibility

Abel shivers upon hearing the shout, the shock wave sends wind to every direction including him. His face was stretched for a few seconds but quickly regain his composure.

The boy gets rid of all his thought immediately and waits for whatever he's going to get from the elders. They have an agitated look on their face, but they were not letting a single word out of their mouth.

But one of them couldn't help but ask, it was none other than the grand elder himself, "I hate humans, all of them are evil-minded, now looks what they did to us?!"

Abel was confused when he heard this. He began wondering about what did he did, 'What did I do wrong that I made the elves so agitated? Is this related to the orc's invasion?'

The elf continues his words that look much like a response to what Abel said in his thought, "No, it's not related to the orc's invasion. Did you lose your memory? You took the bag of the orc chieftain!"

Abel tilted his head and raised his eyebrows, clearly not knowing what the elder is talking about. He couldn't help but to try to clear some things for himself, "May I ask what you are talking about?"

Another elder interferes, this time it's a woman right beside the grand elder responds, "You stupid human, if only you didn't bring that bag to us, those orcs wouldn't even notice us!"

The boy was once again returned to his confused mind, the words that woman elder didn't have any effect on his confusion and he asked once again, now in a kind of rude tone, "So you are going to let the orcs?"

The elders in front of Abel and the armoured elves behind him seem to be taken aback. Their face shows an even more agitated look on their face, even Halius face Abel and told him to keep his attitude.

"Dude! Don't be so rude, we are in front of the great elders of the elves that have occupied this place!" Abel didn't even glance at the boy and only stares at the elders of the elves.

The looks to each other with a bit of hesitation in their mind currently, a single sweat can be seen on their face. But soon that sweat disappears when the woman elder barks at Abel, "What? You thought elves are that useless and shameless? But the fact that yo---"

She was cut off by a voice right that came from the direction behind Abel. The elders in front of the boy stood up and their eyes widen. Abel gave a quick glance behind him to see who it was.

It was a simple old man with white hair, his face doesn't have wrinkles at all just like the other elders. He wears casual green clothing like the others elf, and a silver crown on top of his head can be seen.

Abel quickly returns his sight forward only to see the 7 elders in front of the wooden table. Kneeling to the direction of the elf with the white hair with their eyes facing to the ground.

The boy quickly looks back, and the man disappears, he returns his sight once again only to see him standing right in front of the elders, 'How could he move that fast from behind?"

Halius are as surprised as the boy, they both stares with confusion and surprised feeling on their mind. While the man greets the elves with a short, "You all grow up so fast, last time the seven of you are still kids!"

The man gave a smile that somehow calms Abel's mind, but when the man turns around with a furrowed expression. The boy could feel great aura just behind the man, it scares him that he tries to avoid eye contacts.

But it all changed when the furrowed expression disappeared and was replaced by a big smile, "I don't know that the elves wouldn't even dare to fight the orcs and blame it on this child instead, hahahah"

He casually ends that sentence with a laugh, as he could just insult his own's race pride casually, "Well, I apologize young man for all you experienced, but can you please help this old man once again?"

The man ends that sentence with a smile of a desperate old man that couldn't be rejected. Even Abel's head starts nodding itself without the boy even noticing it. The man's smile grew even bigger.

The smile itself slowly turns into a big happy grin and the man continues his words, "Well, a deal is a deal. Help me defend the homeland of the elves I love and you shall be rewarded greatly!"

[Fight the orcs for the elves]

The grand elder and the woman elder suddenly stood up and said to the man, "B-but your greatness… do we really need a human to help us defend from the nasty creatures even in our own terrain?"

Suddenly, there's a dome forming around the elders and the man. They seem to be arguing about something. Abel let out a light smile and raises his index finger to the sky and a dome appeared around him and Halius.

Halius was surprised when he saw his friend making a dome that he couldn't close his mouth, "Wow, your magic skill are so high that you can make a magic dome that can conceal our noise!"

The boy nodded and began discussing what he's going to do with Halius, "So, my friend, it looks like that we are going to fight orcs for the elves, do you think we can win?"

Halius divert his sight and contemplate for a second, he seems to hesitate, but he finally gave a nod to Abel, "Yes, I think we could win, we even have the support of the elves this time!"

The boy let light smile to his friend and said to him, "Well, then it's decided, I actually read a book about strategy before we came here, I'm confident we can win!"

With determination in both of the boy's eyes, they nod to each other furiously and Abel gave his words before the dome disappears, "Okay, okay, let's focus on what we are going to say to the elders now"

Halius give him a nod once again for the last time and the dome disappears, coincidentally at the same time, the dome that surrounds the elders disappears as well and both sides continue their conversation.

The talk continues with a surprised smile from the man and the elders, the man said to Abel, "I'm very surprised that a young human boy like you could do that kind of spell, I'm impressed!"

Abel gave him a light smile, and the man continues his words, "I talked to the elders, you are welcome to help us on the fight against the orcs. We are very grateful that you would help us!"

Abel gave him a light smile once again and as the man was about to continue his words, an elf ran toward the elders and the man. His heavy breathing and he dropping on the ground are signs of tiredness.

With the little energy he has, he said as loud as he could, "The orcs… are… going… to reach… this place in… three… minutes"

The man then passed out and all the people panic except the man on white. He gave a big smile with his eyes closed to Abel and said, "May the god of nature bless you, I'll see you on your success!"

He then disappears to thin air, making everybody there even panicking more than before. Abel thinks to himself while still panicking, 'Tha-that man is crazy, my character fucking 15, what did he expect me to do?!'

The elders of the elves look at each other for a moment before turning their sight toward the boy. With their puppy eyes, they stare at the boy, Abel tries to avoid eye contact but was met by a puppy eye from Halius himself.

He looks behind him to check on the elf's guard, only to see the same puppy eyes. He let out what it might be the hugest sigh in the universe before muttering under his breath, "Can I log out now…"

Upon seeing the word 'special event' his eyes spark even brighter than the sun, he quickly let out a big grin. He stood up from his seat, still with a big grin on his face, and takes a step toward the elders.

Each step feels lighter and lighter as he continues to think about the word 'special event' and when he was in front of the elf, he stops. He gave the elders a big smile before he takes a deep breath and said to them.
