Thorgrim just nodded and left the room, leaving Abel alone to pack his stuff and wear the thick fur coat he got from the day he boarded the ship.

He just waves all the notifications out, woke Abelard and went to the upper deck where he saw the crews unloading the boxes from the ship. They gave him a rather awkward look as they passed by him. The boy himself just looked at them with the rather same awkward look.

But then, Thorgrim approached the boy and said, "Oh, you are finally here! Let me explain some things to you! Here, the land of the north, kind of cold so don't take off your thick fur coat, now follow me"

The boy complied, and they both left the ship where he saw his friend, Halius, yawning. When the three of them are together, Thorgrim said to them, "Well, in front of us, is the small dwarf town, Vergan. This is the only dwarf settlement in this land, by the way,"

They both just nodded at his words and waited for him. The dwarf looked at them and asked, "What do you two expect me to say? That's the end of the explanation, both of you can go find an inn to rest or something, here's the money"

After he gave both boys each 100, he went to the ship and began helping the crews to unload the boxes. Meanwhile, for both of the boys, they went around the town to do as what Thorgrim just said. It was not long before they found a building with the sign of bed hanging on the door.

They both looked at each other and gulped, Abel slowly opened the door to it and was greeted by a dwarf girl with a light brown hair that almost tripped but saved the embarrassment and bowed to him, "He-hello customer! welcome to our establishment"

Abel and Halius just looked at each other once again and Halius then said, "Ah, okay, can we each get a room, please?" The girl fixed her posture and smiled before she went to the counter.

Both boys followed her and waited on the counter, then the girl went inside the counter and took a pair of keys. She gave it to them and said, "4 gold coins each please! Would both customers want food and drinks too?"

Abel nodded and just placed 10 gold coins at the counter, Halius did the same and a big smile emerged across the girl's face. She said, "That would be the total of 5 gold coins each for a night, the total should be… 10 gold coins! Here's your change, thank you!"

Both of the boys nodded at her, took the change she gave them and went to their own room, which they found not long after. Abel immediately went for the bed and just fell on it. He then said to the mini boy, now laying right beside his head, "Hey, Abelard, do you think we could finish this quest unscathed?"

Abelard raised one of his eyebrows and answered, "Of course! I saw your fight before, you fought like a veteran soldier. Why don't you try practising your magic as well? I never saw you do magic despite having some knowledge of it!"

Abel got himself up from the bed and asked, "I don't know the way, the books I read a while ago only told me about some magic circle. Perhaps you know how to do magic? Why not teach me some?"

Abelard sighed, and he got himself up from the boy's shoulder and said to him, "Well, you could say the magic circle is the mana converter. I don't know about your system, but that system lacks many things!"

Abel tilted one of his head and has a confused look on his face, the mini boy continued his words, "Well, it might not be your system after all… Ehm, now do as I said, extend one of your hand, palm to the air and imagine the mana on your hand"

Abel did what the mini boy said, the mini boy continued his words, "Now, slowly take a deep breath, empty your head and think of what element you can use, there are 4 general elements and you should know it, no need for me to explain it further"

He nodded and thought of fire, Abelard saw it and raised one of his eyebrows, "Now say the magic word, in the book, it's just the simple fireball. Don't forget to control your breathing and control the magic itself!"

"Fireball!" A fireball could be seen floating above his palm in no time, below it was the magic circle. Then he suddenly got a notification.
