74 Chapter 73: The End

"So you are back?" said Hiroshi Sato with a big frown as he saw Chen sitting in the main hall of his mansion.

Chen had a leg above another while holding a bowl of cookies.

If there is something he'd missed while living in the spirit world, it would be the cookies.

He extended a cookie toward Hiroshi, and he said. "Wanna one, father-in-law? Let's catch up while you tell me how much you missed me." Chen smiled widely.

"Why would I miss you? You literally took my daughter with two blood benders, not giving a second thought." Hiroshi walked to Chen and took the cookie.

Hiroshi used to work for Amon. Chen could understand why his father-in-law was worried when he let the evil boss with the daughter of the guy he betrayed. Some secrets could have been exposed. It was a stupid step but a necessary one. Amon had played a major part in his bloodbending power.

"Yeah, it was a stupid step from my side," Chen replied. "But don't worry. There would be no danger coming from Amon, his brother, or that girl."

"Oh, father." Asami interrupted. "Chen had nothing to do with that. I was the one who insisted to go with him." Asami put her hand on Chen's chin.

"Are they trapped in the spirit world?" Hiroshi ignored his daughter and asked.

"Unfortunately, they couldn't make it," Chen said, pretending to be sad. "The spirits have killed them. The three were a great help on my way to get out of the spirit world."

Chen didn't tell the truth.

After he'd trapped them in the spirit world and went on his quest to close every way to the material world, the trio had chased Chen. They sought revenge, and he'd, to be honest, it wasn't an easy battle. But with his avatar states, he could defeat them with ease. As a form of mercy, he hadn't thrown them into the fog of the lost souls. Chen instead had sent them to the reincarnation cycle.

"I see." Hiroshi took off his glasses and wiped his fake tears. "They died heroes, I guess." He then smiled. "So, tell me, what were you doing while growing that beard."

Chen raised his head, trying to remember.

He'd fought numerous spirits, large and strong and old ancient spirits. One of them had almost taken his face away. But still, he had enough brute power to defeat them. Some stupid spirits had tried to possess him so they would kill him. They only failed and served as food to his spiritual power.

"Nothing much," Chen said. "I'm quite tired, and I need one thing."

"What?"

"A large comfortable bed, a lot of junk food, and not doing anything," Chen said, extending his hand behind Asami and grabbing her butt. She smiled a bit, not blushing at all. He grabbed a cookie and bit on it.

"You got all the right. Now, get your break." Hiroshi said, smiling. "Tomorrow is your wedding."

Chen stopped crunching. "Marriage?"

"You're her fiance and you left her for a long time. You made her like a widow. You don't know how hard it is to feel as a father."

"Didn't you say that we need more time to know each other?" Chen blinked twice.

"I can trust you." He said. "At first, I thought you are after my wealth. But you proved yourself."

Chen held the urge to cough.

Hiroshi was right. Chen had been after his wealth, but somewhere in his journey, he'd changed his mind.

Just for the record, Chen's goal had never been the money. It was the slacker life while having someone to take care of him.

"Father, that's a rude thing to say," Asami replied, furrowing her eyebrows at her father. "But you have a point, wedding tomorrow."

Chen nodded, 'if she's in hurry, so be it.' He pressed on her butt. "We should invite Korra."

"Right." Asami nodded.

After shaving his beard and all, Chen wore a suit, which Asami had bought for him. He then went to the backyard of the mansion. He found that Korra and Asami were waiting for him, both wearing wedding dresses.

They were going to marry in secret, the three of them. Since society would give them a lot of attention if three people ended up marrying each other, they decided to do it in secret.

It was for Korra since their trio relationship won't be announced for now.

At any rate, Chen couldn't miss this, in his opinion, unnecessary marriage.

But he couldn't miss what would happen after — not after all of the time he'd spent alone in the spirit world. Yeah, Korra's soul hadn't let him fuck since she'd been afraid of getting spiritually pregnant with physical sperm.

That's why he needed this night. 4 months of frustration could only hold an intense reward.

"So, we are supposed to marry, like that, in front of the spirits?" Chen titled his eyebrows.

"Well. That's how they do it in my town. Except they don't wear dresses. It's quite cold in the south pole." Korra nodded.

"What do they not wear?" Chen raised his eyebrow, smiling a bit.

"Everything, which will happen later." Asami waved her hands, stopping Korra from Chen the answer.

Asami brought a radio, which played music. The three held hands together, and soon, Chen said.

"In front of the spirits that won't ever come back, I announce us—" Chen opened his mouth to

"Hold on. Shouldn't we say our vows?" Korra interrupted.

"I second that." Asami nodded, excited. "We've been preparing for a long time for this."

"Oh, right," Chen said, turning his head and sighing. Whatever. What's just hearing a few more words?

"I'm so happy that you did this." Chen gave them a warm smile.

"I promise that…" Asami started speaking. Chen looked at her pink lips moving, and he couldn't understand a word of what she'd just said. No. He wasn't paying attention to what he was hearing anyway.

"And I promise that I will bang you hard," Korra said.

Chen faked a few coughs… "I promise that I'll be good…until death does us apart, I guess. I don't know. I'm not invited to weddings a lot."

"You two guys are really direct to the point." Asami sighed.

"Now, I announce ourselves, spouses. We may fuck." Chen couldn't hold in any longer and he picked up the two girls, taking them behind the trees of the backyard.

Chen felt appreciation in the current moment. He'd achieved what he dreamed of. a peaceful slacker life. No, it came with an extra. He was feeling better about it with two women next to him.
