30 Chapter 30

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?"

Haru heard a man's voice. When the blindfold was taken from his eyes, he saw an old man with grey beard and blue outfits standing. Around him, there was a bunch of girls who were wearing dark green armours and they had some white makeup.

Currently, Haru was tied to a pillar.

When he stared beyond the people in front of him, there were many houses. Out of them, the people wore blue coats. There was a slight snow layer. It meant that this village existed in a high hill.

Turning his eyes back to the girls, Haru stared at their blue eyes. 'Noice,' he thought. When they noticed his glance, some took a step back and some had their eyes twitching. The one in the middle, who seemed to be the leader, seemed to be annoyed that Haru wasn't paying him any attention.

"Answer me! Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"Me? I'm just a wanderer." He smiled. "Travelling the lands, sharpening my skills, and I heard about this Kyoshi island, so I thought of coming here and learn." He said the truth, but not the whole truth.

"Oh really, and how do we know that you aren't a spy of the Fire Nation and you want to steal our fighting methods." The old man asked in suspicious. Knowing that this is time of wars, Haru couldn't blame the old man for thinking like that.

"You think that a spy from the Fire Nation would like to steal martial arts from women."

A fair brown haired girl with blue eyes seemed to get offended. She took a step forward and yelled. "And so what. So you are saying that girls aren't warriors."

"Suki, calm down." Another woman held her from jumping at Haru.

Taking a deep breath, Haru stared at the girl who is called Suki, and he said.

"I don't remember saying my own opinion. But the Fire Nation people would think so." Haru shrugged. "I know best that Kyoshi's warriors are really good ones."

The girls shut their mouths upon getting praised. One of them turned her head and hide her blush, saying. "Well, someone who praises our founder can't be evil. Right?"

"Right."

"Too naive." The elder sighed. He then looked at Haru. "That still doesn't prove that you are innocent. Whatever you intents are, I will have you to know. This island's people had been living in peace for century, and we are planing to keep ourselves out of the war. Someone like you isn't to trust. Throw him to Unagi." He then turned and gave his orders.

"You are wrong about many things." Haru tapped his foot on the ground. A sharp spike ascended. With a from his head, the spike cut the ropes that tied him.

Haru said. "One of the things you are wrong about is that you aren't going to get involved in wars. Once the Fire Nation is done from the Earth Kingdom's capitals and the North Pole, you are the next. The other thing you are wrong about, I don't belong to the Fire Nation, 'cause I am obviously an earthbender. I have a green eyes and a tanned skin. And if I wanted you harm, I would have done so long time ago. But I'm just a fan of Kyoshi and I want to learn martial arts."

"Yeah, except that we are trained to fight benders like you." Suki stepped forward and ran toward Haru, taking a fan from her belt.

The girl seemed to be focusing on her pride as a warrior more than the safety of her land. She then dashed at Haru.

She was really fast that her figure seemed to be burly. Haru tapped the ground with his feet, and a bending wave transcended, creating a large spike on her way. She put her hands on the ground and flipped, dodging the spike, before jumping and heading at Haru.

Moving his finger, dust rose covered Suki from her belt before it hardened, holding her movement in the air. Haru then waved his hand, and more dust flew in the air and surrounded her limbs.

"See, If I really want you harm, I would have done so." Haru opened his hand, and he let her free. "I'm Haru by the way,"

Suki stared at him with a glare. "You just got lucky and caught me off guard."

Haru noticed that the other women, who were about to attack him, had calmed down.

He smiled at Suki and bent down, extending his hand to help her.

"I know. I consider myself lucky for that." He lied as easy as he could breath.

But he had to admit, she was really agile and fast to dodge an attack from like with a flip. Not many could do it.

Suki stared at his green eyes with her blue eyes. Having the stare going for 10 seconds without her moving, Suki turned her head and a slight redness appeared through her cheeks.

"We will settle it one day." She stood up on her own.

Looking at his stretched hand, Haru used it to rub the back of his head.

"What are you intentions young man. It appears that you aren't with the Fire Nation. But I will have you to know, we have nothing to do with the war" The chief stepped forward. Standing up, Haru smiled at the old man. "So if your intent is to invite us, you are welcomed to leave."

"I just wanna learn martial arts."

Learning martial arts and foot works should increase his powers. Having a system would help him achieve more than anyone can in this world. What had pushed Haru to come here was to learn how to be agile. He had remembered how Suki had managed to climb a high building easily, and those Kyoshi warriors were good when fighting benders. Learning from them would increase his arsenal in the coming war.

"And why do you want to learn?"

Exhaling a sigh, Haru said. "Is it rare for people to seek learning martial arts?" He then looked at the girls.

Thinking that provoking them would work, he said. "I thought that the style of the people who are named after an Avatar would be the best choice. But I may be wrong… I should see somewhere else."

"No, you aren't wrong!" a black haired woman with large chest protested. She crossed her arms and walked toward Haru. "It's easy for anyone with a half brain to tell that our Kyoshi's martial arts are the best. We are trained to take benders down on our own."

Her voice wasn't full of pride, more likely full of the desire to brag.

The others smiled at him.

"So, this confirms that I have a half brain." Haru smiled.

"Don't raise your hopes too much. Learning what we know won't be easy for you, young man." She said. "I've trained a generations, and they all screamed of pain. Fighting like a Kyoshi's warrior requires strength, will, and flexibility most men don't have."

Knowing that she is trying to brag, Haru decided to use that for his benefit.

"I don't really know about that. I should try it myself." Haru said. "It can't be harder than earthbending right."

Feeling that she got slightly provoked, Haru resisted his urge to smirk.

"I know what you are doing. But our fighting art is only trained for women. Currently, you are welcomed to stay, but we have never taught a man before." She crossed her arms, and Haru stared at them… above them actually. He then made an eye contact with her.

Letting a sigh, he said. "Well… maybe they fit only women, like kitchen." He gave her his back. "Thanks for confirming that. You saved me wasting my time"

If Haru said that on Twitter in his previous life, he would get banned.

Nothing provokes an entitled woman than saying that she belongs to the kitchen.

The expression they make when they hear that, priceless.

(A/N: Don't get me banned. It's MC's words, not mine)

Not needing his eyes to see, Haru could see the gasps. Some opened their eyes widely and stared at each other. Some words like 'how dare he?' 'No he didn't' were heard.

"Humph. You think we are less warriors." Suki walked around Haru and stared deeply into his eyes.

Seeing that he got under their skin, Haru made a honest smile to Suki's beautiful face.

"You said your martial arts are only for women." Haru said.

"It's for warriors!" Suki yelled. "It's too much for you to handle, but you don't seem to appreciate the good intent. When you have a rest, come to the dojo, and it will be proven to you." Suki said.

Haru smiled at her. Suki stared at his eyes, her lips relaxing a bit.

Haru turned his head. The girls and the women had devilish smiles on their faces. It was like if they were preparing to teach him a lesson.

"So this mean."

The large breasted woman said. "We will train you, just don't bitch when we stretch you." She examined him from head to toe. "This is going to be fun." Unlike men, women are born flexible. They don't need stretching as much as guys do. "My name is Luki, and you are going to remember that."

Haru turned to the elder, who shrugged his shoulders and gave him a glance that said ("you got your self in this mess. Help yourself")
