[Adrian's POV]

"So, who are you and why are you looking for Johan?"

Adrian's hands shook on top of the wooden table. He was trying desperately not to show how much he was scared out of his wits at the several men surrounding him.

There were seven, he counted, all of them as equally intimidating as Russell. It's as though Russell multiplied so he could scare the shit out of him for even thinking of approaching Johan again.

"Are you not going to talk, huh? Cat got your tongue?" One guy with bulging biceps leaned closer with a menacing stare from across the table.

Adrian tried not to shrink away, despite his heart almost about to explode when the guy reached out behind like someone pulling out a gun. Whether or not it's a bluff, it made him regret coming here. He just wanted this nightmare to end, so he forced out an answer.

"I-I-I'm his workmate," Adrian stuttered, pulling his arms away, but a hand gripped his wrists.
