Their department had gone back to normal, if normal meant having a light conversation about the latest trend or gossip in the television or social media. The girls would gush about almost everything, from celebrities' controversial lives to their neighbors' lives.

The farewell party for Johan had been cancelled. Not that Adrian would attend, but he heard that something came up, so their plans had changed. In the end, the girls just ended up hanging out in a restaurant with Johan the day after he submitted his resignation letter.

There was also a mention of a guy hanging around Johan. Based on the sexualized description of the girls, it was undoubtfully Russell.

"Have you seen his arms?" Mommy Thesa directed the question at Jacqueline in a gaspy voice, lifting her arms in a poor attempt to imitate a bodybuilder. "Muskels."

"Yeah," Jacqueline agreed.
