152 New twist in love

The next afternoon…

" I am Jake Harris. Can you tell me where Ava Miller is? " 

" Room no 406…" the receptionist answered.

Jake quickly went to the eighth floor, taking the elevator. He noticed the nurse's workstation and then looked for the direction board. He went to the nurse's station and asked, " I am here for Ava Miller. How is her condition? " 

" She is out of danger but still unconscious. She had a slight fraction on her leg. Don't get upset…" the nurse informed Jake. 

Immediately he walked to room 406. He found her lying on the bed unconsciously. Her head was dressed in a white bandage. There were a few scratches on the cheeks and jaws. Taking long strides, he went to the bed where she was. Her hands were attached to IV tubes. Looking at her state, he felt devastated. His eyes became wet as her face was pale. He touched her fingers and said, " What happened to you, Ava? What do you make yourself? Did I send you to this place to see this? "
