PLAY OF DEATH

There was a girl who had a simple life named Jessy. Her family wasn’t rich, but it was full of love. She always called weird because of her fashion choices. Because of her scholarship, she decided to study at a famous university, but she never imagined that she would encounter something horrible at this place. On the first day of school, her classmates were disappointed by her, but she did her best to make friends. That day she met Clark. He was the handsomest guy on campus, the one that all of the girls had a crush on. Most of them were practically dying to be his girl. Clark had friends named Nikki, Gerly, Cherry and Justin. They were the most popular at university. They seemed nice at first, but Nikki was so irritated with Jessy for whatever reason, so they decide to play a game with her. This game required that Clark seduce Jessy. He then planned to leave her after she was thoroughly in love with him. Clark started to be Jessy’s friend, which was a welcome change given that no one else was as friendly as Jessy had hoped when she came to university. Clark would always drive her home. They would eat together and do their class projects together. Then Clark started to court her and did his best to become her boyfriend. As the days passed by, Clark and Jessy grew very close. After a month of being Jessy’s boyfriend, Clark decided to tell the truth along with Nikki. He told Jessy that he and his friends had carefully planned all the things that had happened. He explained that he didn’t love Jessy and had cruelly dated her only to crush her at Nikki’s direction. Aware of how truly awful people at the university were, Jessy felt both crushed and enraged. She wanted to fight, but she was weak and didn't know what to do. All she wanted was to cry and think that everything would be okay after all, but she couldn’t prevent the negative spiral of thoughts that followed. She was so overwhelmed and her world felt so shattered that she ran into the road and was hit by a semi-truck, dying instantly. Devastated by Jessy’s death, her family became very lonely, especially her dad because she had been his only child. He had loved her so much and would have given his life for her. He had done his best to give her what she had wanted as well as what she had needed. He had tried to make her happy. Now she was gone. But why? Why would his daughter leap in front of a truck? Jessy’s father never get over what happened with Jessy until a man told him the truth. Jessy deserved justice. He deserved justice. Would he go to the police? No. They wouldn’t solve anything. Even if they did, they’d be far too merciful. Jessy’s classmates had caused their deaths, so he would cause theirs. He began creating a game of death. Jessy’s father began work as a janitor to take his revenge. He started to kill each of Jessy’s classmates. His father didn’t have any mercy, thinking only to punish those who had caused his daughter’s death. He put one of Jessy’s killers into a box full Play of Death. In the end, Jessy’s father got his revenge, but his wife, Jessy’s mother, felt terrible about what her husband was doing. She didn’t have any choice but to kill him to prevent him for killing even more people, people he thought deserved it because they were bullies. She killed him before he had a chance to kill Nikki and Clark. They asked for forgiveness, which she gave them, knowing that their own guilt would haunt them more than any revenge would.

I'M INLOVE

Napuyat ako sa nangyari kagabi. Hindi ko alam kung maniniwala ba ako o kalokohan lang yun. Parang ayokong pumasok muna, pero pinilit kong bumangon.

Hindi na ako kumain dahil wala akong gana. Kinuha ko na ang aking gamit at lumabas. Nagsimula na akong maglakad and then...

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Dumeretso ito papunta sa akin at tumigil. I know who is driving the car. Its you again Clark Harry.

"Jessy sabay ka na sa akin, papasok na rin naman ako eh" nakangiting sabi nya. Tumango na lang ako at kita nya sa mukha ko ang kulot ng aking noo.

"Kamusta ka pala kahapon? I'm really sorry sa nangyari sayo" nag aalalang tanong nya. Hindi ko narinig na may tinatanong pala sya sa akin dahil wala ako sa mood at parang sasabog ang utak ko.

"Ok lang ako." maikling sagot ko sa kanya. Agad ko na lang tinuon ang kanyang pansin sa pagdadrive. Nandito na kami sa school at nauna na akonh bumaba sa sasakyan para pumasok na sa room.

I feel that I'm already tired kahit wala pa naman akong ginagawa. I decided na dumeretso sa aking bangko to take a rest.

I saw nikki and her friends laughing at me at may pinag uusapan tungkol sa akin. They look at me at tinutusok nila ako ng matatalim nilang salita. Nakita ko si clark na nakatingin sa akin at may lungkot sa kanyang mukha.

"If you know what happen yesterday sa isa dyan I'm sure you will laugh. If you saw her kung paano sya matakot baka maiyak lang kayo sa kakatawa" pagpaparinig ni nikki. Agad ko na lang tinakpan ang aking tenga para hindi marinig ang kanilang mga sinasabi. Bigla akong nilapitan ni clark at binigyan ng tubig.

"Eto oh uminom ka" mahinahon sabi nya. Bigla nyang hinawakan ang aking kamay.

Tiningnan ko sya at nakita kong nakatitig sa akin. Bigla kong hinila ang aking kamay.

"Sige parang ayaw mong magpaistorbo eh" malungkot na sabi nya. Agad na syang umalis at bumalik sa kanyang bangko. Pipigilan ko sana sya at hihingi ng sorry pero nakita ko sina gerly na nakatingin ng masama.

Dumating na ang teacher namin at inayos ang mga sarili. Naalala ko ngayon nga pala ang presentation tungkol sa binigay nyang project.

"Good morning students, so are you ready para sa ipepresent nyo? I'm sure maganda ang mga ginawa nyo kaya sana don't dissapoint me okay? So the first presentors are Gerly and Cherry." seryosong paliwanag ni maam. She explain kung anong gusto nya sa presentation and we all know na mataas ang standard nya pagdating dito

All of our classmates are clapping habang pumupunta sa unahan ang dalawa. This two person are really famous in this university especially in our school.

"So what topic you decided to discuss?" tanong ng teacher namin sa kanila ng.

"uhmm we decided a topic na lahat ay makakarelate dito. " masayang paliwanag ni gerly

"It is all about LOVE. Exciting right?" dugtong naman ni Cherry

"So start your presentation. I'm sure naman its really exciting and make sure na maganda." seryosong sagot ni maam

"Of course maam 100 percent, I'm sure you ganna love this" maarteng sabi ni Gerly na parang may halong pang iinsulto.

"Ok lets begin" maikling sagot ni maam

"So today we are going to discuss LOVE, kasi siguro naman everyone experience it right? Sabi nga nila that love is everywhere, saan ka man pumunta you can see love." pagsisimulang pagsasalita ni Gerly. They are right. This topic is really exciting.

"According to what we research TRUE LOVE is the state you are in, when you feel connected, attached and happy with someone. True love is about treating with a kind of respect that they deserve because you view them in a love manner" mahabang paliwanag ni Cherry habang si gerly naman ay may pinapakitang picture of a two people loving each other.

"Sabi nga nila it doesn't matter whether you are ugly or beautiful as long as you love the person you know. Hindi naman masusukat sa panlabas ito kundi sa panloob diba?" dugtong na paliwanag ni Gerly. Everyone of my classmate are listening. Both of them are really good in reporting.

Agad akong napaisip sa mga sinabi nila. Maniniwala ba ako o hindi? When you are happy with someone it means you love that person, its really special to you and you can't forget the moment when you are with him/her.

I saw he looking at me. Agad ko na lang tinanggal ang aking tingin sa kanya.

"Ano bang ginagawa mo?" bulong ko sa aking sarili. Pinilit ko na lang na hindi totoo ang mga iniisip ko sa kanya.

"We interview a couple and they are 50 years na kasal na. Imagine bihira na lang tayo makakakita ng magkasama pa for almost 50 years. They met each other while they are in college. The good news is dito din pala sila nag aral kaya pumayag sila mainterview" seryosong pagpapaliwanag ni cherry. Lahat ay nagulat sa kanyang sinabi. May ganto pa pala ngaun.

"Their love story is the perfect story na hindi nating aakaling mangyayari pa in real life. The girl is just a simple girl but she is an intelligent students. Her name is Leigh, no want to be friend at her and then she met Dave, the most handsome in university and the called him bad boy dahil sa kanyang ugali. Its funny na sila pa pala ang magkakatuluyan sa huli because we all know sa story lang naman ito nangyayari but who knows right? mahabang kwento ni gerly. Their story are sweet like a chocolate. Its just like me, I can say to my self that I'm a intelligent but we have a differences, no one like me and beside she is beautiful while me....

"They are always fighting but leigh is not a person na matatalo mo, he is brave enough. Dave fall inlove with her because she is a brave and cute. He courting her everyday and after 2 months they become a couple. After they finish their college and find a work, they decided to marry each othet. Leigh and Dave have 3 children name JV, hannah and Donna. That is their love story" pagtatapos na sinabi ni Cherry. Lahat ay nakangiti ng may halong kilig sa kinwento nya. May mga nag aaway na at natatawa na lang ako. All of us want that love story but God knows kung ano ang nararapat sa atin.

"At the end we cannot choose who will be our partner forever, it will find you, its either your friends or your classmate. Wala namang pinipili ang love baka nga nasa tabi tabi mo lang sya eh." masayang sabi ni Gerly. Lahat ay naghihiyawan at hindi mapigilan ang kanilang sigaw pero ako ay tahimik lang. I feel my heartbeat fast, I don't know why. Its not the first time na nangyari sa akin ito at alam ko kung kanino ito.

Ano ka ba kung ano ang iniisip mo

I tried na sumilip kay clark at tingnan sya. I saw his face, nahuli nya akong nakatingin sa kanya at umiwas agad ako. She is smiling at me.

"Quiet class" sigaw ni maam. Bigla syang nagsalita at pinapatahimik kami. Agad na umupo sina Gerly at Cherry habang si maam ay nagsasalita.

"That is very interesting topic to the both of you. They are both correct. Love is everywhere kasi kahit saan nandyan sya, your house, even in this school may makikita kayo. Pero guys always remember not all of the love in this world you want to experience are good. They are many people broke up in their relationship and it can cause of death. Be careful who will you choose. Not all of the person you know have a same characteristics" paalala na sabi sa amin ni maam. Nakakatakot talaga ang love, it will ruin your life. Agad akong natauhan sa mga sinabi nya. She's right.

"Remember the story of Romeo and Jiliet? Their story is really heartbreaking. They both died at the end and it is because they love each other" pagpapaliwanag ni maam. Pati sya nakakarelate sa sinabi nina cherry.

I'm scared to fall in love to someone else. I don't want to break my heart at tsaka sino ba naman ang magkakagusto sa weirdong katulad ko.

"Ok class, that is for today. Next meeting be ready for your presentation Nikki, clark and the other one is Jessy. See you when I see you" pagpapaalam nya. Agad nyang kinuha ang kanyang gamit at umalis na.

"Hey weirdo" sigaw ni nikki sa akin

"Bakit?" tanong ko sa kanya. Lumapit sya sa akin at lumapit din si clark.

Nag usap usap kami sa aming gagawin and then binigay ni clark ang mga ipepresent.

"So nikki this is for you, discuss the history of the old house while jessy you need to explain what the caretaker said, yung mga details na sinabi nya and yung story about the two person. Ako naman I will just add some other information sa mga sasabihin nyo at magsasummarize ok? Ako na rin mag aayos ng presentation natin. Thats it." paliwanag nya sa aming dalawa ni nikki. Tumango kami at umalis na ang mga kaklase namin. Nauna na silang lumabas at naiwan ako. Inayos ko ang aking mga gamit.
