Group 2 Introduction

Brian just got off from his job in telecommunications. He was driving his old light blue car down to his apartment complex when he noticed some people acting strange. His favorite radio station was nothing but static so he turned it off. No reason to bother with hearing that. He looked around and noticed that there were a group of people just staring at a broken traffic light. They almost seemed in a trance. A lot of cars behind them honked their horns and yelled. A big, burly guy hopped out and walked up to them. He grabbed a hold of one and swung her around. That was when all the drivers froze. The woman was missing a lot of her face!

She then started attacking him, biting into his neck. He flung her back into the transfixed crowd. That, unfortunately for him, broke their gazes which in turn broke the trance. They all turned and started ripping him apart! A woman raced to his side after getting out of his car, and tried to help him. They all turned on her. Then, he got up, his entrails trailing behind him! He started attacking the woman as well! She screamed and pleaded, but it all fell on deaf ears. The other drivers didn't know what to do! Brian drove through as fast as possible. He knew he needed to get away from there!

He drove to his apartment, witnessing many gruesome scenes along the way. He tried his best not to look at any of them though. He finally made it to his apartment, and he quickly made calls, trying to see if his friends were ok. “Come on! Come on!” was his chant as he brushed back his coppery brown hair. He had freckles splashed across his face and thick black glasses. He had a wiry build, hardly any muscles, but he wasn't ever planning on fighting before! Brian ran around the place, looking for any weapons and things that could come in handy. He was throwing it all into a big duffel bag. Then he heard the phone click, “Hello? Brian?” He thanked all the gods that he could think of right off the back.

“Mendy? Where's mom? Are you guys ok?” He had only left a few years before, their dad leaving much more ahead of him. The difference? He moved to get a better job and help them pay the bills. He always tried his best to watch over them and take care of them. His father didn't give a damn about them and happily abandoned their family and remarried. Never to be heard from again.

“Mom's sleeping. Brian, are you coming home?” Mendy asked, he could imagine her now, with her shoulder length, coppery hair. The same as him, they also shared green eyes and freckles. She was seven years younger then him, making her seventeen.

“I am now. Do NOT. Under ANY circumstances. Let ANYONE else in! Ok?” He asked as he headed back to his car. She was silent for a minute. “Mendy! Did you hear me?!”

“Yeah, it's just that Jenna is here right now. Should I send her home?” She asked tentatively.

“NO! Neither of you go outside at all! Just lock the doors and windows and wait for me. Arm yourselves with whatever you can find, ok?” He asked as he pulled out his keys and waited for her response before he opened his door.

“Yeah, but you better explain when you get here! You are really starting to freak me out!” She replied.

“I know, I'm sorry. But I will explain it all, I promise!” He then hung up the phone. He cautiously opened his door. After making sure that the coast was clear, he headed for his car. He kept a hold of his keys so they wouldn't jingle. He quickly jumped in and drove out of the lot. He headed straight to his mother's place, the whole way hoping that they would be ok and trying to make up a plan as he went.

He then remembered he still had more calls to make....
