8 Chapter 8: First step forward!

Exactly an hour later, Zero's eyes yanked open abruptly and he slowly got to his feet. His aura completely vanished and there were no visible changes on his body. He tapped the gas tank and shoved it over to the side with a grunt.

"Empty" Zero muttered with an indifferent look on his face.

Everyone, Miss Lane and the scientists stared at this kid casually walk towards them as if nothing special happened. His hands were shoved deep into his pocket as he exited the corridor with an indifferent look on his face.

"How was it?" Dan was the first to approach him with his usual smile on his face. Soon Kira and Akila appeared beside him with excited smiles on their faces.

"See for yourself" A rare smile appeared on Zero's face and he opened up his palm, creating a fist-size dagger with his purple aura.

"An emitter!" Miss Lane gasped in shock. Even though emitters were considered common amongst guardians and super-powered humans, it was extremely difficult to find high-level ones.

The last high-level emitter she knew of was Zero's father, a member of the four wings of the liberation union and now his son has inherited similar powers. In her own opinion, emitters are quite easy to deal with if you are at a higher level but those who are capable of manipulating their aura to take the shape of various items and tools are way more difficult to handle.

"I'm guessing we all successfully inherited our parent's abilities… This is our first step forward!" Dan said with a genuine smile for the first time.

Immediately after the awakening process, their power level spiked because of the massive amount of spirit enhancement gas they inhaled. After a while, their abilities finally settle down and is currently a bit unstable. The kids at these points are required to stay indoors and meditate to help stabilize their powers. For this, they were given a week off just to stabilize their realm.

With this, the four returned hastily. They locked themselves up and rejected all visitors from any organization who approached them for their various reasons. During this time, the news of these four inheriting their parent's abilities spread like wildfire.

The most interesting thing about this news was that they inherited these abilities with higher potential, meaning they would definitely surpass their parents if given enough time to grow to become the greatest heroes of the liberation union.

With this, the world was practically watching them now and their actions and words pulled a lot of weight. The government advances towards the Oscuro organization were halted abruptly and a counter announcement was made.

The government was returning complete ownership of Oscuro to its rightful heirs!

This news came as a shock to Zero and the rest. They never expected their successful awakening process will have serious effects on the world's view towards them.

Who have thought potential S rated guardians could shake the liberation Union this much! This showcased how severe the countries condition was at the moment.

The members of four wings of the liberation union were murdered the liberation union soil and all evidence pointed at the God sect of the Sovereign federation but the government dared not bring up this matter or demand for justice. The reason for this was simple,

The previous generations created all the S rated guardians in the liberation union and these people's strength has deteriorated due to age factors. The most enticing part of the deal was the fact that when a person is capable of gaining the favor of one member of the four, it simply meant the other three are obliged to treat him or her as a comrade. This could be considered as a package deal!

"Why were we summoned for a board meeting today, don't you all know my grandson Zhao Li requires my guidance to progress faster!" An old man white hair and numerous wrinkles on his face spat as he spoke to the eight members of the board disdainfully. Zhao Li instantly became the Zhao family successor after he successfully awakened his ancestral special abilities with an insane level of potential at that!

The godlike potential grade simply meant he was not inferior to two out of the four most popular teenagers in the country. And since he already belonged to the Zhao family, the other super clans and massive co-operations had to treat them with more respect now.

It was obvious the sudden change in fortune made Zhao Ling look down on everyone he deemed to be below him. He became arrogant and impatient as well and spoke out of line whenever he wished to, but no one dared to reprimand him.

"Are you trying to say your grandson is more important than the Oscuro organization… chairman Ling" A youth voice echoed from the entrance of the massive room and the iron doors yanked open abruptly!

Four youths dressed in cooperate attires of various color swaggered in as if they owned the place.

Wait, yes… They do own the place!

"I ask you to repeat those words one more time, chairman Ling" Kira red pupils burnt brighter as he stared directly into the eyes of the aged man. His read hair was tied back into a ponytail and he wore a complete red fitting suite with expensive red shoes.

Zhao Ling's expression turned ugly as he didn't expect this to happen.

How are these kids here?

Weren't they supposed to be indoors stabilizing their realm?

As Zhao Li's grandfather, Ling was aware that the academy gave these kids a week to stabilize their powers and get more familiar to it. Even Li who had godlike grade potential was still struggling with this at the moment and they had only three days left.

"I… I didn't think the young masters would have the time to grace this meeting, if not I would have brought gifts to congratulate them on their achievements!" Zhao Ling immediately dialed down his tone when he spoke to these kids.

The room was extremely large and at the other end of the room from the entrance was a wall made of just glass from which Zero and the others could see what's going on outside the company headquarters. This has been their favorite spot since when they were little, they always looked out the window and made funny faces while their parents were busy with board meetings. Coming back into this room brought back so many pleasant memories which made Zero reveal a warm smile.

"Just let it go, Kira… Let's get this over with and leave" Zero said nonchalantly as he sat at the other end of the twenty-meter long table. He looked dispirited as usual and patiently waited for the others to join him. Kira simply gave chairman Ling a meaningful glance before joining the other three.

Sigh!

Chairman Ling heaved a sigh of relief and quickly adjusted his attitude. His four-star bodyguard retreated a bit further under his instructions and a fake loving smile appeared on his face.

"How are you three doing? I'm truly sorry I haven't had the time to visit after your parent's untimely demise… I'm sure you all must have reached a bottleneck in your cultivation since you don't have anyone to guide you anymore… Don't worry, I will surely instruct a high ranking guardian to assist you four in stabilizing your realm and getting familiar with your new abilities! Even my little Li is finding it difficult to meet up with the deadline!" Chairman Ling said.

At this current time, he and his family could not compare to these four people, it was only natural for him to try to build a relationship with these kids while they are young and vulnerable! He could become a father figure to them if he plays his cards right!

"Help us steady our realm?" Kira asked with a vicious smile on his face.

"Help us get familiar with our abilities?" Akila asked with a blank expression on his face.

"Even Li is finding it difficult? Are you purposefully trying to shame us in public, chairman Ling?" Dan asked with furrowed eyebrows

Hearing the numerous replies Ling was confused. Under the cold gaze of the four kids who owned forty percent of the company shares his confidence crumbled and he could not speak properly, he kept stuttering.

How could these kids have such a domineering presence? They all looked like tyrannic C.E.O's!

"I sincerely hope Chairman Ling will not shame us publicly by placing us at the same level as your grandson Li… As for aiding us with stabilizing our realm and getting accustomed to our abilities… We already stabilized our realm two days ago… As for getting accustomed to our abilities, we have been using our abilities since it was at the birth phase… How do you think we murdered that yellow belt assassin?" Zero's eyes let out a dazzling purple flash as he spoke.

His words slammed into the minds of everyone in the room like a truck! Leaving them dazed for seconds!

Even the bodyguards of the various chairmen and chairwomen stared at these kids as if they were monsters!

Stabilizing one's realm in two days?

What the heck! It takes a month to stabilize one's realm after awakening for people who are talented!

How did these kids manage to complete it in two days!
