I am fucking..... Whitebeard?

In a room filled with children of all ages are playing with toys. Some are watching cartoons on TV and some are reading books on one side.

Not far from them a man 26-27 years old is looking at everyone with a smile and continues to read the book in his hand.

It's not just a book but a manga book. As he continued his o read he sometimes smiled, sometimes looked excited, sometimes looked angry and sometimes looked longing.

After 10 more minutes, he put the book down as he just finished reading the latest chapter. He then look at the time and said "all right everyone, playtime is over. Go to your bed."

"Can't we play a little longer, big brother Edward?" One of the children asks for hopefully. Others also look at him hopefully.

Edward shake his head and said "no, you have to study too. You can play tomorrow."

All the looked sad but decided to listen to him. They got up and go to the study room.

Edward look everyone and nodded. Like everyone, he is an Orphan too. So after growing up and finding a job he decided to take care of his old orphanage during his weekend.

Every time he is here he feels at home. And all these kids are his family members. They give him peace and happiness.

"Oh, you aren't letting them stay longer? I thought I had to scold you again." Suddenly someone said from his behind.

Edward recognises the voice. He smile embarrassingly as he turn and said "Hihihi, sorry father Jack, I will try to be a little strict."

Jack is an old man with white hair. He is the one in charge and also the owner of the orphanage. He take care of them his all life.

Jack shook his head and said, "I know you love them and that's why you sometimes let them stay to play longer."

Edward smiled too. Jack smile and continues "go and sleep. You have work tomorrow."

Edward nodded and walk to his room. It's the same room he used to stay in when he was here. Jack keeps this room for him.

Edward lay on the bed and think about his life. He has seen many teenagers getting angry and fighting with their parents for the simplest things but here all the kids longed for a day with family.

They may not say it but he knows coz he was also in their shoes. He falls asleep as he thinks of this.

Edward suddenly opened his eyes when he heard a thud noise. He got up confusedly and looked around. He gets up from his bed and goes outside of his room.

The whole orphanage is dark as the light is off. He looks around but can't find anything. Just when he was about to return to his bed he heard footsteps. But it's not loud.

Edward followed the sound of the footsteps and come in front of a closed door. He frowned and open the doorknob and looked inside.

He froze.

He saw two men wearing black musk holding one of the children who looked sleepy or unconscious. Those two men also look at him.

"Who are you and what are you doing?"

They cross each other's eyes. One of the men ran towards Edward and tried to grab him.

Edward gets surprised but he quickly reacts and confronts the masked man. He used to learn martial arts and it's time to make use of it.

Edward quite easily handles the first man. And ask again "what are you doing with the children?"

Edward is not stupid. He understands that they come to kidnap these children with ulterior motives.

The second man didn't reply; he quickly took out a knife and attacked Edward. Edward May knows a few things about fighting but he can't handle two of them at once.

"Uncle Jack!!!" Edward shouted to alarm Jack and the other adults in the orphanage while he faced the duo.

The masked men panic and try to attack him with full force. Edward tries his best to fight and dodge the knife.

Suddenly the man with the knife throws his knife toward Edward and tries to run away. Edward was about to move and dodge but noticed the unconscious children behind him. If he moves then the knife will injure if not kill the kid.

At that moment he didn't think twice and as he stood still on his path.

*Stab* "ugh!" Edward grunts as the knife stab in his heart. Even he doesn't know how it moves from its path and moves to his heart when it should be his stomach.

"Fuck!!!!"

A ship that looks like a white whale is moving in an unknown direction in the vast sea. There is only water all around the ship, no sign of land.

On the deck of the ship, many men are sleeping while lying or sitting. All of them seem drunk as the smells of booze are coming from all of them.

If you look up you will see a black flag with a skull design on it floating on the watch tower of the ship which indicates that it's a pirate ship.

Inside a room of the ship, a giant man with a huge white moustache is sleeping soundly. A few bags of saline are connected to his body. There are also some scars on his body.

This man is the most feared person in the world also known as the strongest man alive.

Edward Newgate, AKA Whitebeard, Captain of Whitebeard pirate and also one of the four emperors of the sea.

Suddenly the man opened his eyes with a jolt. He has a confused look on his face as he looks left and right.

"Where am I?"

"Didn't I just die?"

Before Whitebeard or the imposter could do anything, he grunt in pain. New memories start to pour into his mind like a tsunami and are mixed together with his old memories.

Edward cries and curses the reincarnation agency.

Suddenly he thought of something and remembered what he read at the end.
