2 Does one need similar name to reincarnate?

[The Task System can be used and controlled by using host thought or voice command.

The host will be tasked with a mission from the system. By completing each mission, the host can get Task points (common reward) or other rewards.

The number of points and the rewards will be based on the class of the mission. There are 7 ranks in the mission. F being the lowest with S being the highest.

The Tasks are not compulsory. The host has the right to select any mission from the mission boards.

But once a mission is accepted it can't be rejected in the middle. Some missions may have penalties for not completing.]

[The System has five functions. Status, Mission, Training room, Subordinates, Inventories]

Edward read the System description and understood the gist of it. It's simple and easy to understand. He has read enough fiction to understand the use of this function without any explanation.

"Inventory," Edward said

A new screen opened in front of him. Edward notices a card-like icon in it. Without any wait, he selects the card with thought.

It appeared in his hand. Edward looks at the card. It's white with a green plus mark on it. Which is normally used as a healing symbol in fantasy worlds.

New information appears in his mind and he instantly knows how to use the card. Edward smiled and thought of using the card.

The card then glowed and started to cover his whole body. Edward feels warm as if he is bathing in warm sunlight with mystical power which makes him refresh and calm.

He instinctively feels his body is getting recovered and filled with energy. Edward waits for the process to finish.

Marco and all other division members wake up suddenly with serious faces. They sober up instantly and look at each other.

"Pops!" All of them said at the same time and ran towards the room of Whitebeard. The first one to come inside the room is Jiru or Speed Jiru followed by Marco and others.

All of them look at Whitebeard who is sitting with closed eyes. They can't see the glow but they have serious and exciting eyes.

They can feel with their Haki that Whitebeard is recovering somehow. Because they can feel his power is recovering to getting to its peak.

Marco and others didn't talk as they don't want to disturb or stop whatever is happening to their father. As long as he gets well soon they will wait patiently.

All of them focus their Haki on him and wait beside his bed.

After 10 minutes Whitebeard opens his eyes abruptly as a red electricity flashes in his eyes. He raises his head high and laughs.

"Gurararara"

"Pops!"

Marco and others called Whitebeard excitedly. Whitebeard stops laughing and looks at the people in front of him.

For some reason, he doesn't feel distant from them. When he hears them calling him pops he is a hunk that it is natural and it should be this way.

He also feels really compassionate towards them and also can sense their pure respect and love for himself.

'Does one need to have a similar name and background to reincarnate as someone else?' Edward, Edward Newgate chuckle inside.

He looks at all the sons of Whitebeard and feels close to them. He doesn't know if it's previous Edward's or his emotions. But he sure wants to protect them.

They remind him of his past life.

"Marco, check my health," Whitebeard said as he looked at the pineapple head man in front of him. He recognises him from his memories and also from the show.

Marco nodded and went to check Whitebeard's health hurriedly. He uses all of his medical experience and checks him thoroughly.

After a minute Marco becomes extremely excited and happy as he said to Whitebeard and others "you have recovered. No, it would be best to say that your body is now as strong and healthy as when you were at your peak."

Whitebeard and everyone can see how excited he is.

"Really??" Jozu and Vista ask together. Others also want to be sure that what Marco said is true.

Marco started crying from happiness and said "yeah, it's true. Pops has recovered."

All of their eyes turn misty from happiness and thank whoever or whatever was responsible for this. They didn't even ask how this happened.

Whitebeard looks at 'his' Sons crying from emotions and feels touched.

Whitebeard suddenly laughed and said "Gurararara, why are you crying? We should celebrate. Let's party."

By now all the cream has woken up hearing the loud laughter of Whitebeard.

"Yeah." Marco and others agree with him. But all of them feel free and relieved as if something heavy has lifted from their body.

Whitebeard sits on his seat as he drinks his booze and looks at all of the sons and daughters of Whitebeard with a smile.

Both Whitebeard and he have few things in common. They both are orphans and both want a family.

He knows that they may never show it but all of them were worried about his health.

But tonight after getting the good news from Marco and seeing their father is really healthy their mood lights up and a big feast and party starts on the ship.

Edward looks at all the characters he once saw in anime and is now real and partying in front of him, and feeling happy.

'This time I will try to protect all of them.' Edward said as he knows the future of this crew.
