"I don't remember a thing." (Roman)

As I said that, I felt very uncomfortable. I felt uneasy as I looked at the doctor who is frowning. The doctor noticed my gaze and smile.

"It's alright. Have a rest, I'm sure that your memories will return sooner." (Doctor)

Patting my shoulder to reassure me, the Doctor then went outside together with the nurse.

"Doctor, how are going to break the news to him that he is the only survivor of the accident?" (Nurse)

"I would not tell him now since his still recovering. One's his fully recovered, I'll talk to him about that." (Doctor)

"I'll tell everybody (Nurse and Doctor) in the hospital to keep quite about the accident. If he discover it now, he might not recover mentally and it might cause him to commit suicide." (Nurse)

"Please do. Also tell the police that he had awaken and needs to recover. Tell them about the patience's amnesia. We can not let them investigate the patient since it might bring up that accident. " (Doctor)

"Understood." (Nurse)

A month had passed and now I'm fully recovered. Today is the day I'm getting discharged from the hospital. Before I went out, the Doctor called me into his office.

"How are you?" (Doctor)

"I'm fine Doc. As you can see I'm fully healed." (Roman)

"That's good. There's something I have to give you before you go." (Doctor)

As he said that, he picked a folder and passed on to me. He then said.

"You might resent me for this but I want you to understand that I did this for you're sake." (Doctor)

I didn't know why the Doctor said that to me before but after opening the file and reading what's inside, flood of memories suddenly came together with tears as I remember everything happened. The Doctor then stands up and put his hands onto my shoulder and said.

"Keep on living. Although they might leave you alone but always remember this. "There's always a reason for thing that's happening". Keep on living. Do not let their memories to be forgotten. I'm sure that someday you'll find a reason to live." (Doctor)

After a few minutes of crying, my eyes became red and swollen. Although the Doctor told me the news late, I understand him for doing so. I bid my farewell to the Doctor and went to the front desk to complete the paper for discharge. After that a police car came and invited me to the Police office for my testament about the accident. I then tell them all from the start of our plan towards what happened before I lost consciousness. After that I went back to my house and rested their. I continued my business while searching for a purpose why I have to continue living. Painful years passed one after another. And then I met a strange kid that changed my life.

While I was standing on the warehouse, a strange kid approach me and said.

"Excuse me. Do you buy ingredients like fish or meat?" (Kid)

"Yes, are you selling something boy?" (Roman)

"Yes, do you buy Swamp snake? How much does it cost?" (Kid)

"Hmm, about 300,000 yen. How about it?" (Roman)

"Sure. So where should I put it?" (Kid)

"Just bring it here, in front of the warehouse." (Roman)

He waved his hand and the Swamp Snake's body appeared out of nowhere. I was shocked to see the Swamp Snake.

"..." (Roman)

Thinking it was a magic trick I asked him.

"Was that magic? I can't believe it. Suddenly appearing in front of me. Am I dreaming?" (Roman)

"Hey your not dreaming. Do you want to buy it or not?" (Kid)

Looking at the body of Swamp Snake I noticed some bite marks and cuts. I then asked if he knew what beast fought against it.

"Of course I want to buy it, it's still fresh. This bite mark and cuts, what beast did it fought to have such wound?"(Roman)

"The bite mark is from fighting Galala gator. While this cuts are from mine." (Kid)

"Did you killed it after being gravely wounded by Galala Gator?" (Roman)

"No. I killed them both. I joined their fight since they got me wrapped in there battle." (Kid)

"..." (Roman)

"..." (Kid)

I can't keep on feeling shocked.

"Your not joking right?" (Roman)

As I asked that, he then put the corpse of the Galala Gator near the Swamp Snake.

"Oh My Goodness!" (Roman)

"..." (Kid)

I recovered from the shock when the kid spoke.

"Are you buying or not? I'm in a little hurry so can you decide? (Kid)

"Um.. Yes I will buy the Swamp Snake, are you also selling this Galala Gator?" (Roman)

"No." (Kid)

Dissapointed by that I introduced myself to the kid. My gut feeling tells me that this kid will bring rare ingredients in my shop.

"Okay, please wait a minute. By the way my name is Roman, if ever your selling some ingredients you can sell them here. I would love to buy them with a reasonable price." (Roman)

"Sure, my name is Satou. Nice to meet you Roman." (Satou)

And these was the moment where I found a purpose to live. The kid (Satou) would bring souvenir from the places he went and tell stories about his adventure. Him visiting my shop made me very happy that makes me look forward to life. I became close to him that I started treating him like my son.
