Chapter 057 Encounter

After learning the "Shipwright" skill, the raft that I build upgraded to a normal boat with two oars. Apparently Shipwright helps on simple building boats and ships since it's level aren't high enough or else I would have built something like "Going Merry" or "Sunny Go". As I was cutting down trees for the boat, I realized another used of Ope Ope which is building boats without using nails and other adhesive components since I can separate and stick each wood to form a natural man made boat (without any artificial materials). Using Room , Amputate and Tact building a simple boat with two oars.

After building the boat, I used Zushi Zhushi to make it float high enough avoiding any aquatic beast reaching it and made a strong repulsion towards East where the direction of Central Human World and World Kitchen.

The boat traveled fast thanks to above ground and sea which avoided trouble but some Flying beast attacked since they saw me as prey and Gourmet Demon's Intimidation doesn't always work to some beast like Drill Birds. Defeating all flying beast that came charging, my Exchange points increased a lot and items inside Inventory became plenty enough for me to last at least a month in an remote island.

Traveling went smooth without any hitch for two days until I met a thunderstorm. As the boat traveled, the clouds suddenly became dark and lightning keep flashing accompanied with roars of thunder.

I immediately used Observation haki to the limit since I'm in a thunderstorm and below is water, if lightning hit and destroyed the boat a big trouble for me that is. Seeing the future that multiple lightnings hit the boat. I immediately used Room and expanded it to the limit then used Shambles to move the boat away from the incoming lightnings. Doing the same thing for several times, fatigue continued to pile up. As I decided to land the boat to the raging sea, I saw a silhouette of a giant bird. Focusing my sight I saw clearly it's appearance that resembles of Lightning Phoenix I saw in the "Stairway to Heaven". The difference are that it's color is blue while the Lightning Phoenix in the giant beanstalk is yellow (gold) and it's size is twice the size of the Lightning Phoenix.

(AN: This beast is Author's original (using author's bullsh*t powers). I really want to name this Storm Garuda but I promised that I'll use Lightning Phoenix as basis. Also this beast is mutation of Lightning Phoenix with ability to herald storm as it's name implies. Also it's capture level is unknown due to the fact that he haven't completely awakened Gourmet cells and me (author haven't decided what capture level to put on).)

Seeing this beast gave me an idea to survived in this storm. I move towards the Storm Phoenix using Geppo after putting the boat in the Inventory (he just realized that he can put the boat) and rushed towards Storm Phoenix. The Storm Phoenix glanced on me as it noticed me getting closer. It then screech and lightnings came raining towards me. Dodging the lightning rain thanks to Observation haki I moved closer to it. The Storm Phoenix became alarmed as it noticed I was unscathed, it then flapped it's wings sending gust of wind towards my direction while continuing its rain of lightning. I used full body Armament haki with Tekkai to brace myself from gust and lightning since I can not dodge everything even if I saw them from the future.

Even with Armament haki, I received some damage from the lightnings that hit me. I drawn my Zanpakuto and used combination of Soru and Shunpo to close the distance between me and the Storm Phoenix. The Storm Phoenix noticed that I have closed our distance and wanted to used its claws to attack but it was late. Why? Because I am here. I mean I'm already close enough and shouted.

"Embodiment: Kyoka Suigetsu" (Satou)

As I shouted, I immediately used Perfect Hypnosis towards the Storm Phoenix. The Storm Phoenix stopped its claws from hitting and flapped it's wings gently moving towards me. It then stretched its head and bow, signaling that it had completely recognized me as it's master. I went and sat on hits head then ordered it to stopped the lighting rains. Following my orders the Storm Phoenix screeched loudly and then lightnings started disappear and dark clouds began to dissipate. I then ordered it flew towards the direction of World Kitchen. With it's speed of flying my journey became even faster, thanks to Armament haki that winds generated by high speed flight didn't affect me.

Nearing the World Kitchen, I ordered it to make dark clouds as cover to avoid drawing attention. I bought a cheap mask and cloak in the Exchange store and wore them in order to avoid getting attention of Gourmet Corp since I faked my death.

Tommyrod P.O.V.

I returned to the Headquarter to deliver the BBcorn and report about my encounter with the kid named Satou and how he died in our battle.

"Really!! You killed that kid?" (Grinpatch)

"Shut up!! How many times do I have to repeat myself. I killed the kid in the Wul Jungle. Happy?" (Tommyrod)

"How can he die just fighting you? There must be some kind of mistake there." (Grinpatch)

"Well believe what you want loser. I won against someone who won against you. Admit it that I'm stronger than you." (Tommyrod)

"Hump...." (Grinpatch)

"It was a hard battle. Though I almost died from his weird attacks." (Tommyrod)

"Weird attacks?" (Grinpatch)

"He turned his sword into some kind of petals and attack my insects. He also somehow avoided getting hit by the explosions of Bomb Bugs. Well I eliminated him though, I don't want to face someone like him." (Tommyrod)

"...." (Grinpatch)

"I guess you can not avenge yourself from your defeat against him" (Tommyrod)

"Damn. Fight me insect bast*rd. I'm gonna prove that I'm stronger than you!!" (Grinpatch)

"Bring it on sucker!!b I'll make sure your body will become a good nest for few of my insects." (Tommyrod)

The two continued throwing insults to each other until being beaten by Alfaro for being loud.
