Chapter 047 Weird Incident

A hour has passed since the incident regarding of me almost transforming into a hollow. I viewed my Status after an update to see if there was any progress.

I noticed that everytime an update in the system takes place, my race seems to change. Not only that but Gourmet cells also responds to the change in race. Finally Observation and Armament haki became Master level. Now I can do full body Armament haki and create an invisible armor that can hurt specially those whom devil fruit user. Observation haki can now identify any emotion of the individual embodies. Except for Rokuogan, all Rokushiki became Master level. My Shadow Clone Jutsu also level up to Master level. My sword Kazekiri changes into a soul weapon that transformed from a sword into a katana with black hilt and cross shaped hand guard (Zanpakuto) which I placed in my waist even though I can store it in my soul to look more cooler. Instinct is a natural skill that everyone has but not everyone can use. This is develop through battles and experience. Last is Vizard Mode that creates a Hollow mask that generates greater power, speed, durability and Reiatsu concentration. Right now I'm trying my new found skills.

I held my katana and shouted, then the katana changes into a giant cleaver without any hilt and guard with white wrapping. Then I tried to fuse it with Shinso but failed. Maybe the failure is due to incompatibility of the Zanpakuto that is being fused (like Ryujin Jakka + Sode no Shirayuki) or my mastery is not enough, either way I would have to practice and master it.

I practiced Vizard Mode by trying to create a Hollow mask but everytime I tried the Reiatsu that I used to create a mask dissipates. After almost an hour of practice I have finally succeed on creating a mask lasting only 12 minutes after putting on. Apparently it consume a large amount of Reiryuko and Stamina. Since I am part Reaper I don't need to change into Reaper Mode and I also don't have such Race skill. Becoming a Hollow earned me new skills like Cero, Vizard Mode, Hollowfication, Garganta, High Speed Regeneration and Sonido. Cero a highly powerful and relatively swift blast that deals great amount of damage (either the target or the surroundings). Hollowfication that turns the user into a hollow (Adjucas or Vasto Lorde) with Reaper powers. Garganta that tears fabric of dimension or space to creates a tunnel like pathway towards desired place. High-Speed Regeneration that heals wound quickly and restores loss limbs. And lastly Sonido which is Hollow skill that is equal to Shunpo of Reapers.

After looking at the new skills, I decided to return to World Kitchen immediately due to the fact that I made a huge ruckus on Death Falls that will put me into limelight. This limelight though is not a good thing since Gourmet Corp has eyeing on me.

"Based on what we gathered, apparently they are gathering ingredients and Chef all over the continent. It seems that they want to procure Regal Mammoth's Jewel Meat." (Mansam)

"Heee. So Midora is cooking something." (Ichiryu)

"President, how about we attack their bases." (Mansam)

"Their main base is in Gourmet World, and even if we uproot them another one will come popping out. Just watch over their movements specially in regards to the kid." (Ichiryu)

"Got it. Yeah President there is something weird happened on Death Falls." (Mansam)

"What happenes there?" (Ichiryu)

"Apparently our satellite picked up an image of a black and green beam appeared, causing a kilometer of damage excluding the 500 meter in diameter crater on the forest near the Death Falls. I already sent some people to investigate about it." (Mansam)

"Hmmm. Is that a new weapon? (Ichiryu)

"We believe so." (Mansam)

"Who do you think is responsible for that weapon?" (Ichiryu)

"I believe it's not the Gourmet Corp." (Mansam)

"Why did you think so?" (Ichiryu)

"Well, why would they test their weapon near the Death Fall? Gourmet Corp would hide this kind of weapon and use it when the time comes or when they are cornered." (Mansam)

"I thought so too. They aren't attention seeking, and my brother Midora isn't that type of person." (Ichiryu)

"Well anyways I won't be around for a few months. So I'm hoping that you could watch over the kid for me until I return." (Ichiryu)

"Also, try to find out the culprit about the Death Falls incident." (Ichiryu)

"It seems that a weapon test is conducted there." (Alfaro)

"According to the report of our spy, a beam like was fired on the forest leaving a kilometer straight clear path and a crater of 500 meter in diameter. Apparently the IGO is relentless about this." (Alfaro)

"It seems that the IGO didn't own this weapon. Investigate who made that weapon and bring that person here. Failure is not an option, use any means." (Boss)
