*Alexa's POV*

I started to go through the drawers. Just one of them had a keyhole. And the key was in! I didn't think it was going to be a secret drawer, I mean, why would someone leave the key there if it was? But it was. When I pulled the key out, I froze.

There was a gun inside.

I threw my phone on the bed, not too hard as I did not want it to fall off.

Why did mafia stories have to have a gun in each room? I really didn't fancy searching for them just to join the pieces together.

But then again, I had to confirm if my brothers were really in the mafia.

If I didn't take precautions who knows maybe the Russian mafia might just want to kill me.

Sighing, I got out of bed, it was too early in the morning, half five to be exact.

It seemed like the birds decided to have a wedding and chose mine out a million windows to celebrate it.

I took the longest shower I could have ever taken because I was too scared to go gun hunting.

What if I was caught? Elonzo would get super mad at me, after all, he just wants to keep me safe from the mafia stuff.

The less I know, the better.

But then me having a big nose, that wasn't going to happen.

After taking the shower, I put on my usual black leggings and another one of my ling-sleeved purple t-shirts.

Then I sighed, it was time to start the mission.

Obviously, from practice in books, I was going to check my bed first.

I slowly ran my hand through the covers, not wanting to miss a spot.

It wasn't there. There could be a slight possibility that my stepbrothers weren't in the mafia.

My instincts told me to check the pillow covers, I lifted it up to turn the pillow on it's back-

And that was it, I spotted the gun.

My eyes widened, it was a small gun, but was still there.

Even though I should have gotten used to the min character seeing one, I was nevertheless horrified.

But why would anyone keep it under a pillow? I mean, anyone could find it here, and that was not being secretive.

And so, I used my logic.

If I were to wake up and find out that the Russian mafia attacked our house and were coming for me, I wouldn't have time to hide.

My shield was the again.

J wouldn't have to do much, just reach under my pillow, pull out the gun and yeah.

Okay... So the gun was there for safety reasons.

I threw my pillow on top of it, I was still terrified-

It was now time ofor part two of the gun business.

My brothers' waistband.

It was going to be awkward for me, but it was worth it.

I left my room and went down stairs, acting like I just hadn't looked and found a gun under my pillow.

Entering the kitchen, I saw Will humming as he filled his glass with green goo.

I scrunched up my face, typical Will.

"That's disgusting," I told him.

"Better healthy than nothing," He stated before gulping his drink down.

I fake gagged.

Will just rolled his eyes, setting the empty glass back onto the counter.

"Anyways," He said turning to me,"Where's my morning hug?"

I smiled and held my arms out for a hug.

This was my chance.

I hugged him tight around his waist and  with my arms, felt for the gun.

Ha.

Found it.

The gun was on his side, my inner elbow felt it.

The both of us pulled out of the hug, I stared into his chocolate brown eyes.

He had no clue about what I was up to.
