|Hanging Out|

*Alexa's POV*

When had I gotten in my room, I had made sure to lock the door for safety. I knew my step brothers were going to talk to me anyway at some point.

It was four in the evening, and I was starting to get pretty hungry. I was just about to give up and go to the kitchen, but my phone pinged

Hey, it's Louis :)

I blushed a bit before quickly texting him back.

Hi Louis!

My foot tapped the ground as I waited from his response.

Would you like to hang out? We could see the sunset as well...

I knew I wasn't allowed to go with him, whether I asked or not. However, the offer was un resistable. I agreed and he said he'll be waiting for me in the park near by our house.

Even if I had agreed, there was still the biggest problem. How was I to get out of the house unnoticed? There were a few people also gaurded around the house if I was able to get past my brothers unnoticed.

First, I slipped off my bracelet - I most definitely  didn't need it if I didn't have to be scared of the russian mafia kidnapping me. I put it on my bed, then, I quickly made a note to my brothers that I was perfectly fine and I would be home soon so they wouldn't worry.

Now it was time for the biggest question, was there a way to get out of the house?

I looked around, out my window. It was the only way. I'd have to risk my life and attempt to jump to the window sill just below this to make the distance to ground less.

Taking a deep breath, I slipped my phone into the pocket of my jacket and let my legs go out the window first, so I was sitting right the edge. I clutched the sides and let myself fall.

I landed on the window sill, a bit wobly. I could hear my heart beating loud enough, that I'd think it's inside my head.

After steadying myslef, I neatly jumped down onto the ground. I quickly ran through the bushes, trying not to get seen, and I slipped through a small space in between two walls.

I jogged straight ahead of me, remembering the directions Louis gave me. They weren't hard, I just had to turn around the block and walk straight ahead of me till I saw a park - which would obviously be filled with children.

Louis was sittimg on one of the benches outside. He was on his phone, but he looked up quite a few times.

The moment he spotted me, I saw a big grin appear on his face. It made me smile back, I wanted to start squealing right on the spot.

He stood up as I walked my last few steps.

"Hey," Louis said running his hand through his hair. "Hello," I replied, trying to keep calm.

"Would you like to start going?" He asked.

I nodded in response. We walked around the fence, which had the park in it. I watched as children played tag, completed on the swings to see who would go higher.

We were starting to go near a forest, the park was long gone. I felt my palm touching another, and before I knew it, Louis had entwined our fingers together.

I glanced at him, but he stared in front. I blushed and looked down, hoping that I hadn't gotten caught staring.

A path was carved, which we followed. The trees slowly started to disappear and the track was hilly.

My legs started to hurt a bit as we walked up. But it was worth it. There was a cliff right at the end.

Louis let go of my hand and went to sit near the edge, laying his back on the neatly cut grass. I did the same, but not as close as him. My distance was kept as I did not want to fall off the cliff and die.

I watched as he stared into the sky.

"You know," Louis said,"I love this spot, one of my favorite areas."

"Why so?" I asked, playing with my phone cover.

"No one ever comes here, it's so peaceful and away from people." He rolled onto his stomach. "You get things off your chest without anyone knowing."

I glanced at him, bringing my legs to my chest and laying my head on my knees.

"Don't keep it in," He whispered. "All your emotions are going to gather up, powerful enough to break you even more."

I sighed and ignored his statement. I'd obviously gt kicked out of my house if I said anything. I'd rather break more than that.

There was tension in the air after that. We awkwardly sat there. I decided this was the best moment to prank him.

I quickly went onto my phone and put on a texting sound which made is look like someone was sending alot of messages to me.

Louis' head immediately shot up and he dropped his twig he was using to poke the ground.

He snatched the phone out of my hand as put my hands in my mouth to contain the laughter.

It took him a while before when realized that it was just an audio. Louis lifted his eyes of my phone. He was glaring at me.

I couldn't tell if it was a playful one or if he was angry at me. Either way I immediately stood up and ran as fast as I could.

Obviously I couldn't run fast enough because he caught up in a matter of seconds.

Louis lifted me up, making me squeal, and spun me around. He then let me go, not before steading me on the ground so I didn't collapse.

I was a bit dizzy which don't help my attempt to hit him much. The best I could do was stumble over to Louis and weekly slap him.

As I regained my position three black, unknown cars pulled over. Louis quickly stepped in front of me.

He must've have immediately regretted it once all of my brothers stepped out of the middle car.

"Both of you, into the car, right now," Elonzo said. I looked at Louis and we started to walk towards the car.

When we were inside, I was sat in the middle of Ryder and Tyler, Blake, Will and Louis were sat in front of us. Elonzo was shotgun as the driver drove on the roads.

All of my stepbrothers, except for Elonzo who was typing on his phone, were glaring at me.

This felt like a déja vu from my past memories. It wasn't my fault. I couldn't stop myself from being me.

We dropped Louis at his house, Elonzo exchanged some words with Mr Gomez.

The ride home was silent as well. The whole way I played with my phone, which had been returned by Louis.

"Give me your phone and go to your room. Make sure you stay there," Elonzo ordered.
