1 And So We Met

"I think I like you!" I boldly confessed not thinking it through at all. Nevertheless, that was nothing surprising since I had always been quick with my words. He looked down at me as he gave a forced smile "I'm fifteen years old and you're just ten... find someone your age or something" He turned around and started walking away.

"I don't care!" I said pulling his arm. He turned around and I stared straight into his eyes not in the least bit scared. His gaze was blunt. I've stalked him well enough to know a thing or two about his personality. (Excuse my 10 year old way of narrating) That's why I liked him to begin with! He's so cute whenever he acts like this (internal squeal!!).

I kept my gaze firm, not even blinking. Then he blinked "Ha. You blinked!" I said instinctively and I giggled a bit. He stared at me for a while, then he finally smiled. "Friends?" I asked extending my hand. He hesitated for a moment but in the end he accepted my handshake.

"Ji Hoon!" He said introducing himself. (Oh boy, you really know nothing! I already know your name!! Tehehe! Ok let's not get to violent with the internal narration) "I'm Bong Cha!"

And that's how to make friends with strangers you have a crush on and you've been stalking for 3 days straight because he's a frequent customer at your mother's grocery store. His usuals are 2 protein bars (medium) and 1 bottle of water (medium) in the morning (between 7-8... he's probably on his way to school by then because he usually has his uniform on and he looks neat), and 1 pack of Azuki Bean Rice Ball Snack (medium) and 1 bottle of water (medium) in the afternoon (usually between 3-4... he's usually worn out, still in his uniform... so I guess he'd be coming back from school)

He's a new student in my a school, although obviously my senior. I'm in grade 5 and he's in grade 10. His family just moved here recently. He loves playing sports (especially basketball) and hates too much attention. He'd rather be known for talents than looks. He is a nice person but always acts though at first so that people won't take advantage of him.

He is also really smart! He's a straight A student and he's even on scholarship right now. Wow! Isn't he just amazing. "Bong Cha!" Mom's voice snapped me out of my internal narrations... I mean thoughts. Oh no! It's mum. She's severally told me not to talk to strangers.

I turned around guilt written all over my face. "I-I can explain...""Ma'am you've got such a beautiful daughter." He cut in!!!!! What is he doing?!?!!! "Why thank you young man. And how do you know her?" "She's a junior in my school. I'm going to marry her." Wait what?!!!?!

Yes!!!! Who wouldn't fall in love with the beautiful bong cha anyways :) I OWN THE WORLD!!! (*internal evil laugh)

"Oh really?!" Mum asked getting excited. "I mean why not? You're such a well mannered boy. What are you buying today? Take it for free... after all I am your mother-in-law now, so I need to start taking care of you."

"No need mother. I can't let your store run at a loss. Besides I already paid I was on my way out, when I stopped to greet my wife-to-be. Anyways I'll take my leave now" he said and mother smiled approvingly.

He turned to me. "Ok bye! Take care of yourself and don't cause too much trouble!" He said pulling my cheeks a little. "Hey! I'm not a baby" I said pulling his hands off my cheek. "Bong Cha! You need to be more respectful " mother scolded me. "Oh no It's fine. I don't want her to get scolded because of me" he said as he greeted my mom once more and left. "Isn't he a nice boy?" Mom asked watching him cross the street. "Enough with the focusing on him. Focus on me now!" I said pulling at her sleeves. "Ok! Ok hun. Let's go shall we?"
