Siege on Black Goliaths Part 1

Shouts of adventurers could be heard everywhere in the city of Rivira as the adventurer tried to pack their things to make an escape.

"Did you check everything?"

The muscular man with black hair and teal eyes, with an eyepatch covering his left eye, asked his colleagues.

"Yes Bors-san, everything is ready"

Replied his colleague.

"Good, let's get out of this place"

Bors said while looking at two goliaths.

(Defeating one goliath might be possible but two were impossible)

Bors reasoned with himself as he prepared to leave when suddenly someone appeared in front of them.

"Bors, Gather all the weapons and adventurers you can, we must kill the floor bosses"

Said the woman with light blue hair and wears glasses.

"Don't be stupid Andromeda! Those two floor-bosses are not just an ordinary floor-boss-"

While Bors saying his sentence Asfi interrupted him right away.

"Both exits were sealed by the ice on the upper floor exit and rocks on the lower floor exit"

Asfi said to them seriously without pushing around the corner, as panic started to appear among the adventurer.

"Damn it"

"What!? how could that be possible!!!"

"How the F*ck this kind of thing happen!!!"

"What should we do!?"

Chaos is starting to spread as Asfi brought them the bad news.

"Andromeda, you are not joking around right?"

Bors Elder the representative of the city of Rivira asks Asfi with seriousness.

"Yes we need to kill those things if we want to escape"

"But that was impossible! we might be able to kill one goliath but two is out of the question"

Bors said on Asfi grievously as they started on losing hope when someone appear beside them.

"Don't worry we would be able to kill it"

Said the by the woman knight whose beauty is equal to those goddesses.

"Huh? just who do you think you are"

"Yeah, just don't butt in when you do not know what are you're saying"

Said by random adventurers while other adventurers started agreeing with them

"You should be ashamed!!!"

Artoria said to them with anger while she started to criticize them.

"Did you all come this far as an adventurer just to wallow in despair?"

Artoria look at them one on one, as the adventurers could feel the aura that could only exude by those high level adventurer in her, making them suffocate.

"Do you want to die pathetically when you did not even try? or you would at least try to defeat your foe and die heroically?"

Artoria question them harshly as she started on facing the goliath.

"Huh of course who do you think we are! we're adventurers!"

"We're going to defeat that thing easily!"

The adventurer started to clamor as they could feel their blood rushing in their veins.

"Then the young missy are going to become the decoy right? as we try to defeat those guys"

Bors looks at Artoria with a grin, making her to take up the hardest role of the raid.

"That---"

Asfi whose trying to reply to him stop midway as the whole area of 18th floor started to change as light of gold with the size of droplets started appearing while dancing on the sky, as it touch the bodies of adventurers making them feel good and protected at same time, the domain of fairies started appearing at the center of artoria making the whole crowd of adventurer surprise.

(Is this my skill? the manifestation of Avalon to protect not only myself but also those who I want to protect?)

"Then, i shall answer your expectation on me with my promise victory"

Artoria raises her sword and appears on the head of Goliath right away with the help of her skill that raises her stat significantly as she slams her sword to its head, making the goliath brought to the ground.

"Uohhhhh!!!"

Goliath cries out in pain as the whole crowd of adventurers was stunned and mesmerized by Artoria who looks like the goddess of war who promised them a certain victory.

Cry out by the adventurers as they started preparing to raid the goliath who was nearest to them.

(Looks like Hermes-sama is right when he said that these guys are special)

Asfi though also preparing to help in the upcoming battle not a bit worried about her god that cause this tragedy.

Jin thought as he started running on another goliath that was chasing a group of adventurers clad in Japanese clothes with some boorish adventurers beside them.
