Dungeon Struggle Part 2

A monster that was not supposed to be here was coming on their way, A-two-meter-tall with two large and curved horns, black skin, red hair, and yellow eyes. Based on the description alone, it looks like a Barbarian where you can find it on the 37 floors.

"Why that monster was here"

Jin muttered quietly why while feeling buffed at the same time his instinct told him that this monster is not an ordinary one, looking at a monster where it drags a bastard sword with blood painted on it.

(Maybe some incident happen that's why that monster is here, and not only that, looking at that monster, maybe it was on its way to being enhanced species, that alone was enough for it to be close to the upper tier of level 4 of adventurer close to lower-tier level 5 adventurer)

Jin fearfully thinks as he thinks of a way to avoid this fight or run away. Much to his dismay as he sees Esdeath having a menacing smile as bloodlust started to surround her, Excited from the battle coming on their way.

He did not have time to think as the monster started appearing fast in front of them making him surprised as that monster swung its massive bastard sword at them.

The sound of parrying sword resounded as Esdeath could barely keep up to monster strength, Based on Jin's assumption of Esdeath's strength, she was close to lower-tier level 4 adventurer even though she's only a lower tier level 2 adventurer.

"!!!"

The barbarian started to come near him as he swung the bastard sword vertically as debris of rocks comes flying around him hitting some on his body.

"Esdeath we might not able to win this fig--!!!!"

The monster has already begun to make its next move making Jin stop saying his word as the monster dash toward them.

"What are you talking about? we won't be able to escape no matter what you think of it and that monster won't let us escape easily"

"And I won't run in this kind of battle"

Esdeath said while smiling menacingly at their enemy much to the dismay of Jin, even though he could barely keep to it, as the monster started swinging its sword frenziedly making him blow further away due to the difference in strength alone when he tries to parry it.

"Jin, there is no need to hesitate, we need to kill it here, or we're the ones who going to die, I'm going to confront it face to face while you started adapting and support me"

Said Esdeath as she started tanking the monster were trails of spark of sword and some Esdeath mini ice diamond started to appear surrounding the monster, Esdeath skill could not damage it, but its purpose was to distract the monster just for a second.

"You're saying the impossible"

Whisper by Jin not knowing his expression started to change on battle frenzied warrior as he support Esdeath by poking and thrusting its short spear behind the monster.

"Wooohhhhh"

While the two started to synchronize their attack on the monster, The barbarian started shouting at them and began its berserk mode, even though Esdeath could not keep up to the monster's strength, her pure technique, battle instinct, and the fighting experience were enough for keeping up with the fight and was damaging it slowly but surely with some help of Jin while he tries to distract even for second making some chances for Esdeath.

While the two started fighting the monster someone was watching them atop the tower of babel where the word beautiful alone could not describe her as she was the personification of Beauty itself.

"Hah, yes that's it.. show me your adventure, ahhh what a beautiful adventure"

Said the goddess Freya seductively as ottar was beside him also watching, particularty on Esdeath as battle lust started accumulating inside him.

"Still I'm surprised that monster started to appear making me hesitate and urge to send you away to help them but it looks like they might be able to kill it"

Said Freya as she sighed softly where they had also been trying to make Jin and Esdeath face adversaries by sending some high tier monster but Esdeath would always manage to deal it quickly, making them surprised.

"Still I did not know that such a child exist where the soul could always change for better or worse"

Said Freya with an intoxicated look, when she remember the first time they met, she thought that this child have some potential but that was it.

"But when that girl started to appear, the color of his soul started to change rapidly, no his soul has the ability to adapt to the one who's has he had a connection with"

Guess by Freya while ottar listening to her seriously, Freya could see some connection between the soul of Esdeath and Jin, while Esdeath soul was beautiful with the color of pure dark violet, Jin soul was like a canvass where you could paint it right away, right now it was painted with some pure dark and purple color with the influence of Esdeath.

"Does it have to do with the person he's close with? or.."

While the goddess of beauty started contemplating, the battle was entering its climax.
