319 Beatdown

"Hiding behind numbers?! Is that the kind of king that's destined to lead the Red Dragons?" Arthur smirked. His flame core pulsed within the confines of its seal in response to the danger around him.

Could he win? Far from it… Arthur was surrounded by more dragons than he ever thought he'd ever meet in his life. On the bright side, they were all in their human forms.

That didn't mean they were as weak as humans. No, quite the opposite actually. Given the chance, each one of these dragons was probably able to lift about half a ton… and that would be considered weak for the Greater Fire Beasts.

Still, it beat having to face off against them in their menacing beast forms.

Arthur watched Ragnar's half-scaly face lose all the remaining ounces of reason, if he had any to start with, and knew he'd sealed this beat-down.

"Kill him," Ragnar ordered.

'Wait what?!'

'You asked for it,' Arthur's phoenix replied.
