Chapter 3

Inside the cave.

Feng Zhijiu's body became colder and colder. There was an expression of excruciating pain on her pale face. She was shaking, her breathing slow and weak. She looked like a fire that would go out with a blow.

After a few hours, her breathing became so slow and her heartbeat became so weak that after a few minutes her bodily functions stopped and so did her heart. Her face turned pale, without a trace of blood, and at a glance, anyone could tell that the woman was dead.

She died all night and when the first ray of sunlight came out, a small light with golden particles slowly came out from her lower dantian and covered her whole body. Her cold and severely injured body was getting warmer and the wound healed at a speed visible to the naked eye. Her heart was beating slowly and her internal organs were working again.

The spiritual energy around her moved toward her Dantian, circling around her body. Open up blocked meridians in her body and repair her damaged muscles and bones. The golden particles shrouded her body before returning to her dantian, a boundless vast spiritual sea inside. A tall spiritual tower also stands in the center of the spiritual sea. A flock of birds is flying freely in the sky, and the vast green land below spreads far. The long blue river divides the earth in two, like a majestic snake slithering between heaven and earth. Tall mountains sprawled on the sides, and those peaks were covered in clouds on their tops and looked like a wonderland.

Flying islands can be seen floating in the sky, with waterfalls flowing down to the ground and forming mist around them. There is also a vast old-growth forest where a bamboo house surrounded by a bamboo forest stands quietly. There is a vast meadow full of herbs and flowers not far from there.

Behind the bamboo house, you can see a clear and wide lake. She could see clearly that a school of fish was moving under the lake. Next to the bamboo hut, she saw a stream of spring water coming out of nowhere and gathering in a small pond.

She stood there, looking down at the magnificent scenery for a long time before coming back to her senses and walking towards the bamboo house.

Outside the bamboo house

Feng Zhijiu looked around the bamboo house, looking for something to eat. She found that around the bamboo house, a large orchard was full of fruits she had never seen before. There is also a plot of land where many small flowers and herbs are grown.

She even saw some plants that looked like wheat and sorghum. She walked towards the orchard and picked a fruit that looked like a peach. She took a bite and the juice ran down her chin before dripping onto her hand.

'This fruit tastes sweet and fresh. It was so delicious! I can eat a lot of this fruit and never tire of the taste.'

She picked two more 'peaches' and walked into the bamboo house. She could see that the interior of this room was simple and elegant. Basic furniture is also placed inside and looks clean. The atmosphere she felt from this bamboo house was tranquil and peaceful. She likes this environment best because noisy and crowded places can give her headaches and anxiety

She walked into a room full of scrolls and after washing her hands from the peach's juice, she took out a bamboo scroll. The bamboo scrolls look new, the text inside is engraved on those long bamboo pieces and tied together. It's like the ancient records before paper was invented.

She looked at the contents but to her surprise, the words inside were not used by the people on Earth that she knew. But the strange thing is that she can understand the content recorded in this scroll. She looked at the contents inside and found that it was a scroll about alchemy with many recipe records of elixir. She put the bamboo roll back where it was and took out another one.

This time, she found that the content inside was about something called a spiritual tool. She put it back and took out another. It's about all the herbs and flowers she's never seen or heard of before. She looked around the room full of infinite bookcases, each one filled with bamboo scrolls.

This place is so magical. I saw this bamboo house from outside and it looked like a small hut. But right in this room, I can't see the end of it.

It was so magical and she remembered some of the novels she had read before. The protagonist of those novels also has a magical place as she sees it now. She lowered her eyes, thinking about this strange place.

'Maybe this is my own space?'

She came out of the bamboo hut and looked at the vast and majestic view. Her face looks calm and her eyes serene.

'The space is so vast. Like it's a whole planet and this is inside me?'

She stood for a while, then walked towards the bamboo house. She walked into a room full of clothes she had found earlier. She opened the door and walked in. The room was filled with rows of beautiful Chinese clothes.

She pulled out a white and blue outfit. Fortunately, she knows how to wear these clothes. Although she has been ill since birth and cannot even go to school, she still enjoys reading. Any book became her way of learning about the outside world, a distraction during her hospital stay.

The clothes fit her so well. The wide sleeves make her look like a fairy in Xianxia drama, and the belt makes her slender waist appear even more slender. The front of the dress made her plump breasts look very sexy, while the high half-open collar made her slender neck look long and delicate. Her long hair was draped behind her back like a waterfall of black silk falling from the sky.
