I followed this story from gravitytales, I'm glad to see the return. The best thing about this novel is the MC and how she faces the usual MC oppression. Her personality is pretty unique and left me rooting for her from the start. The supporting cast is also pretty good, and though I don't like the ML, the dynamic between him and the MC is interesting. Overall, this is a great story that I hope to see continue.
I am always weary of reading novels where the main xter is in infancy stage. I usually prefer them in their teens and then flashbacks to their infancy stage to build up the story. But this book is different. Here the author takes us back to the beginning and let you experience it with the ML. Strong FL and up to chapter 39 and ML has not shown up or may be it was hinted but the author is letting the FL get strong on her own. I am looking forward to more and hopefully it will be picked up for full translation.
I really hate this horrible cover. This random "we want to sell this to girls" cover is not fit for our female MC fighter. Who is the dude on the cover supposed to be? Please invest a little money to create a proper cover. WN please start releasing new chapters on this. At least release the chapters that were published on GT
I read it on here and then when I saw that it wasn't chosen on trial read I went to read all the chapters on Gravity Tales and I just finished today. This novel is really good, there's a lot of character development in the Main Character and as the story progresses you get a better understanding of things and stuff/people that was introduced earlier are still relevant later on in the story. I actually didn't think I was going to read all the 301 chapters because I usually drop stories a lot for no reason and it's been a while since I actually caught up to one and became so invested in the story. I really hope it gets picked up to be translated and that I pick up from where I left of and eventually finish reading this story. It's so sad that it wasn't chosen for voting...
Read 40 chapters. Love it. Recommend for people who like cultivation WITHOUT focus on romance & ML needing to save damsel in distress. Cultivation novel where the main girl steadily goes from weak to strong after working hard. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the reborn/born-op ones. We learn about cultivation and the world as FL learns about it. The world building is extremely well done. And the GROWTH. Her character, her interactions with people. It's evident that she's no longer naive. She's both mentally and physically strong
Don't bother with the obvious fake 5star reviews. This novel deserves those 5 stars despite WN's "promotion". The cover and tags have nothing to do with the actual content. This isn't a romance novel. The MC might flirt on occasion but that's it. This isn't a bloody CEO bullcrap novel. An irrelevant idiot must have picked this cover. If you're searching for a proper cultivation novel with female MC and no romance, this one is highly recommended.
This is a fantastic book 👏👏👏. Can’t get enough and waiting for the next chapter! Finished reading all 60 intro chapters in one breath! Please upvote so this author can continue to share! It’s a great book full of action, overcoming adversity, and all around feel good book! Read it for yourself! The initial start is sad and depressing because of the adversity the FL faces but it’s soooo worth it!
There is a severe lack of cultivation stories with a female main character, so reading Phoenix Destiny is like being given sweets after eating something bitter. It’s like seeing a lighthouse while drifting lost in sea in a storm, like finding an oasis in the scorching desert - you get the point. The character, Lu Mingshu, is hardworking, very independent and highly intelligent. The side characters are given their time to shine, and it’s great that the villains aren’t overly dramatised for the sake of it. A moment that stood out to me was when the novel addressed this point: if the main character is overly smart, the side characters stop thinking and become backdrops. The novel prevents this, emphasises on how each character thinks differently, they aren’t just there to prop up the main character. Another great character aspect is that the female side characters aren’t put down so Lu Mingshu is seen as the best! Phoenix Destiny is Lu Minghsu’s story about rising in cultivation, the romance is there yes, but the focal point is her adventures, and seeing her level up is so, so satisfying.
