The Right Path (V)

After coming back from meeting the Empress, Emperor Yang Long surrounded himself with piles of reports in his study room. He only left his sickbed a day ago but didn't allow himself to even take a break.

"Bixia, Li Gui Fei has requested an audience." Eunuch Wu came to report to the Emperor.

The Emperor momentarily paused his reading.

…So, she's here?

…They only released her messenger pigeon yesterday, but she already came running over to him.

…It looks like she was in a hurry to see him on his deathbed.

  "Let her in." The Emperor then continued reading his report as if nothing had happened.

Once Li Gui Fe was given permission to enter, she gracefully walked inside the Emperor's study room with a sweet smile, "Bixia." Her voice was even sweeter than her smile.
