5 Right and Wrong

~~~
Ten years ago, after the chaos of war erupted within the Yang Clan's Palace, those days were the breaking point of the human realm completely announcing the Demons as their foes. Under the rule of Yang Shen's father, the Heavenly Emperor of that time, Yang Myong, declared a predestined official to defend and protect the people from the Demons. When a mortal died and experienced a devastating life, he will be resurrected as a Deity who will rule and serve their respective Palaces. Yet only if it is worthy to be remembered in history; judged by the Heavens.
As for the war that occurred, which cost a hundred people's lives, it was certain that a vicious Demon gained a title after that battle with the Yang Clan. Those weak ghouls and a scaredy-cat small wisps also gained courage as they declared a Demon King to attend to.
Han Min, the former scholar of the Han Clan which was already wiped out in existence, fought the battle alone with the Yang Clan and murdered the Heavenly Emperor, Yang Shen's parents along with the aristocrats governing the human realm.
But long before that, only a few people knew the fact that Yang Shen and Han Min were born in the same year, basically the same age.
But those people by now were either deceased or forgotten.
The common people might forget that before the Gim Clan ascended the position of the second major clan in the present times. There were Three Major Clans where the Yang Clan was always placed at the first peak, while the Han Clan was positioned at the second, and the So Clan was at the third.
Therefore, countless tales spread through the three realms about the three major clans having a feud with one another sums up the whole story.
Came from the nation's words and stories who likes to fuel up their gossips, it was rumored that Han Clan and So Clan had done an immoral wrongdoings similar to a demon which cause them to fall from grace. Thus they were vigorously eliminated with the help of the common people and completely eradicated their names.
Those were just one of the tales.
Hence, thousands of myths and stories mixed onto one another and produced an undeniable misunderstanding between the human and demon realm.
When the Heavenly Emperor died, Yang Shen was their only hereditary heir to the throne. He became the Heavenly Emperor and possessed the power to control the Official Divine beings and govern the common people. It's just a matter of fact that he enormously keeps the resentment towards the ghosts. The Devil incarnates who have been mistreated when they were alive, now have their rights forcefully taken away by Yang Shen too.
Now, merely mortals and immortals above deserved humane liberties.
So Eun is a Deity. He knew these affairs and conspiracies that were happening between humans and demons. But with only a vague knowledge about the chaos that causes all of this.
So Eun was a little solemn about the whole situation, aren't ghosts humans too? The misfortune that leads them to death, to becoming a ghost is already a reason to take away their freedom? Aren't humans also committing sins that are sometimes, much more inhumane than demons?
That is also the same predicament as this statement, they hate their kind because of a single being ruining their lives, knocking them to fall with great tragedy, to take away what belongs to them once. Tell me, Who's right and who's wrong?
A Deity shouldn't come in allies and befriend a Demon, a thousandfold of deeds were waiting to punish whoever commits this sin. So Eun firmly noted that. Upon meeting a Demon who he knew would manipulate him, So Eun was prepared and willing to wield his sword and fight his first Ghoul to eliminate.
However, after hearing that certain name, he felt as if a chilling cold dam of water poured on top of his head. Suddenly freezing on his spot, his whole body flinched. So Eun repeated that name over and over again in his head. A fraction of distorted words came through his head as if a hundred people were whispering in his ear at the same time, the sword in his hand faltered and trembled.
He clutched his left hand and caressed his head as if to support himself from passing out, and failed to see the glimpse of that Demon staring at him piercingly because of his reaction.
"A Deity has committed to their second life to pursue their mission while keeping the population safe." He stepped forward once and kept his hand crossed on his chest. So Eun saw that and hastily stepped backward while suffering an inner turmoil.
"May I ask you, Your Highness. What is your purpose?"
In a blink of an eye, all the voices vanished in his head, and using that time to strike spiritual powers he's been assembling in his palm and aim at the ghoul. The ghost merely whipped his hand in front of him and the spiritual energy transformed into a dark hazy smoke that instantly faded away.
He held on to his ground to aim another one, but the ghoul instantly vanished in front of him. He hastily gained back his composure and steady breathing while his whole attention is cautious.
"You know what, I'm tired of you all always bringing up unnecessary grudges to every one of us at every damn time you caught sight of us. Why do you hate us so much? Aren't we once human before we die?" The ghoul's voice reverberated throughout the thick woods.
So Eun could sense him but it's unpredictable to strike again, since the evil energy is surrounding him right now, therefore throwing punches in any possible direction would evaluate the ghoul to achieve what they want from him.
"Aren't you curious about me hinting so many clues about you at a first meeting? Don't you find that strange? And oh, isn't just only mentioning the Demon King's name had left a very strong effect on you?" He felt chills down his spine when that voice whispered in his left ear and he roughly turned around and pointed the sword at the tall bushes.
"I can help you find him if you help me. It's that simple. I wouldn't dare to take your soul or something, because in the first place I don't have the ability if you are minding that." The Ghoul snickered at him and appeared right at where his sword was pointing.
So Eun hesitated for a while before putting his sword down but never sheathe it back. The ghoul raised his left eyebrow at him. Appearing to be in mirth, which only irritates So Eun further.
"I was only trying to visit this place and wouldn't dare to touch anything. Yet, you are still being annoying? You didn't say this is your area or something? And what's with the questions, didn't you know I have been questioning my second life right at the moment I step foot in this world?"
So Eun was having a mild headache during the whole ordeal. And he sighed in distress. Then decided to listen to what he was blabbering for once and then shoo him away later if he wanted to cherish his life.
However, from a sensible view, most of the ghoul's words that had been said to him were in fact, true. Merely hearing that name almost knocked him out in the middle of disputing. And his words somehow caught him off guard.
"What sort of life problems you had, that you shamelessly asked for a Deity's help out of all people? Isn't that foolish and risky enough?" There he goes, asking questions one after another without answering one.
